Here you will post the profiles you have created to be approved by either me, Living Eternally, or a trusted member of the crew that seems to have a decent grasp of what is acceptable. We will judge your profiles and give you all feedback on what is good and what is not allowed. If your profile is not accepted, you must resubmit your profile after making the necessary edits. Once you are accepted, there is one more step that you need to take.

Once your profile is accepted, you need to create a thread within the Profile Subforum for your characters. You will post our characters in this thread so that we can keep everything neat and organized. This is important: You must not create a character thread without having been accepted. If you do so, we will delete the character thread after giving a twenty-four hour warning. If you need to post up your profile while still making it, then please do so in this forum and simply edit your post. We will know when you finish your profile. Additionally, do not PM us telling us that your profile is finished, simply quote us in this thread.

Finally, I hope you all enjoy the character creation process. I cannot wait to see what sort of characters you all create in this guild. Have a nice day.

Username: Rengato
Name: Ao Vermillion “Goodwitch”
Nickname: N/A
Race: Human
Ethnicity: Asian/Caucasian
Gender: Male
Orientation: Heterosexual
Alignment: TN
Academy: Beacon
Age: 17
Birthday: 3/25
Height: 5’10”
Combat Type: Close-Range/Slashing, Medium-Range/Piercing
Weapon(s):
❖ Ao’s sword is two swords that are connected together to form a slightly over-sized broadsword. It is silver in coloration with a black handle and accents. There is no guard to the sword, making it a large, double-bladed broadsword. This broadsword is somewhat heavy, being difficult for others to hold unless they are used to scythes, maces, and other large or very solid weapons. Its edge is very sharp and capable of cutting through many materials, although it is usually not capable of cutting through other peoples’ weapons as long as they are not cheaply made. This sword form has a gun mode that acts almost like a shotgun, creating a large blast that travels medium-range. In the center of the base of the sword, there is a gear-like structure that turns when a trigger is pull on the blade, causing the swords to detach from each other and form two different swords.

These two swords are about the size of standard broadswords, each one rather light and capable of being swung very quickly. They are also silver in coloration with black accents and lack a guard of any kind. Each of them has a gear like structure in the center of their base, allowing the two of them to be locked together to form a slightly large broadsword. Given the fact that these swords have less mass, they have less cutting capabilities, making them mostly useful for pressure during fights and allowing one to block more attacks more effectively. In this form, Ao’s sword is now two guns, still shotgun blasts but with far less force than they previously had. Each blast is capable of taking down a Creep, yet that is about where their strength is.

There is no gun form for Ao’s weapon, the sword simply being more akin to a gunblade rather than a gun within a sword. This allows him to use his gun’s attacks during combat rather than having to switch between the two. What this mean, however, was that he had to settle for a weapon that was less capable of long-range combat. Thus, his gun is like a shotgun, only capable of covering distances up to medium-range. The strength of the blasts also vary depending on what form the swords are in. In its singular form, the sword is capable of destroying some larger creatures easily, such as a Beowulf. In its smaller form, however, the guns are only able to take down Creeps easily, with Ao needing it use multiple shots in a short amount of time to take down anything else while they are in this form.
Dust Skill:
❖ Burn Dust: Low Skill Level
❖ Water Dust: Low Level Skill
❖ Lightning Dust: Medium-Low Level Skill
❖ Air Dust: Medium-High Level skill
Semblance:
❖ Ao is very capable when it comes to using his Semblance. His aura control and his Semblance mastery are actually what redeem him as a student so to speak. Seeing as how he has a very specific use on the battlefield and really only know how to use one dust type effectively, his mastery of his Semblance and Aura have earned him his right to be in Beacon Academy. That being said, his Semblance is very different from most, and most people can hardly tell if the young man is even using his Semblance. Most never even learn what it is, as only Ao would be able to recognize and identify his own Semblance. This is because his ability does not affect anyone but himself. What this means is that no one is capable of knowing what his Semblance is, even if they can identify when he is using it, because only he experiences the effects of his own Semblance.

That being said, Ao’s Semblance is a unique, family-inherited Semblance. He obtained this Semblance from his mother’s side of the family. His ability is to be able to see into the future, allowing him to predict what his opponents are going to do and foresee events that he can work towards stopping. It is a simple Semblance, yet it is also incredibly powerful, as it makes him a difficult opponent to deal with. Coupled with the fact that it would be incredibly unlikely for an opponent to figure out his Semblance, borderline impossible, this makes it a very useful skill. The only hint that his Semblance has activated is that his eyes glow a golden color while he is seeing the future. That means an opponent can easily discern when he is using his Semblance, just not what it is.

The faults that this ability has is that it is relatively useless overall in terms of actual combat use. Yes, it allows him to dodge, block, and survive attacks that would probably catch him off guard, yet it does very little to actually improve his fighting capability. This is because his fighting relies solely on his actual fighting ability. Whatever he sees with his eyes is just information, and he needs to act upon that information rather than simply using a power to get him out of the situation. So, unlike super speed or a power-up, it is simply giving him the information he needs to actually fight someone, rather than increasing his fighting capability. That being said, combined with a skillful huntsman, this ability could prove to be the undoing of many enemies, as someone who can act on the information is a very difficult foe indeed.

Relationships:
❖ Glynda Goodwitch: Adoptive Mother

❖ Violet Vermillion: Mother (Deceased)
❖ Unnamed Father: Father (Deceased)

Strengths:
✔ Two-Weapon Fighting: Ao has mastered the use of two swords at once, being capable of dual-wielding his blades. This allows him to attack more often while also giving him some defensive options when fighting.
✔ Sword Mastery: Ao is very masterful when it comes to the sword, having learned many sword styles and capable of fighting many beasts. Other weapons, however, are completely foreign to him.
✔ Agile: Ao is very agile, capable of moving about and getting to places fairly quickly. This also helps him in dodging.
✔ Air Dust Usage: Ao may not be the best when it comes to using dust, yet he is very capable of using Air Dust, or Green Dust as some might call it. He uses it in his swords to throw enemies back or even to propel himself through the air.
✔ Grimm Knowledge: Ao has studied Grimm for many years under Glynda Goodwitch’s tutelage. This has caused him to develop an almost archival knowledge of Grimm, being able to identify them, and their weaknesses to an extent, on the spot.
✔ Future Sight: With his Semblance, Ao is capable of using the knowledge gained from it to counter many actions by his foes. This, however, is only capable of occurring if he has enough skill to make use of the knowledge. For the most part, he can only hope to use this knowledge to move out of the way of an attack rather than counter-attack.
✔ Secretive Semblance: Ao’s Semblance does not really affect others, and as such they are not likely to know what his Semblance is while he uses it.
✔ Aura Control: He is very good at controlling his aura.
✔ Great Artist: Ao is very capable when it comes to making things, such as disguises, masks, or even clothes.
✔ Great Student: Ao’s grades are some of the best in the class when it comes to academics, although his actual combat ability is rather average.
✔ Indomitable Will: Ao’s will cannot be broken, nor can he be so deeply traumatized so as to be incapable of doing anything.

Weaknesses:
✘ His fighting ability is on the low side, seeing as how he is a first year student. While still being pretty decent for his year, he still has a long way to go.
✘ He tends to have trouble dealing with other people, putting him at odds with people.
✘ His conflicting views causes tension between himself and others.
✘ Endurance: He is not really good at taking hits, which means a few well-placed attacks could do some serious damage to him.
✘ Dust Usage: He is not very good at using most types of dust.
✘ Weapons: He is only adept at using one weapon type, swords, causing him to lack versatility when it comes to the battlefield.

Personality:
❖ Ao is a rather complex individual, having experienced tragedy, fear, and happiness throughout his life, at times not even being aware of the events around him. To begin with, Ao does not care for social interaction. At times, one might even consider him to be some sort of recluse that boards himself away in his room and refuses to come out. This is due to his homeschooling and his views on the world. As he has seen the attitude of most human beings within the world, he has become dissatisfied with them and tends to avoid interacting with them. Additionally, his constant study of Grimm and history of Remnant has left him with a distaste for other inhabitants of Remnant. The selfish attitudes of humans, the violent backlash they caused from the other two races, and the now criminal actions of all of the races of Remnant have left him unwilling to take part in most conflicts. As such, he is decidedly neutral and unwilling to have opinions on subjects such as Faunus rights or the treatment of Grimm. Views on these subjects only lead to hate and violence being born, and that usually ends in nothing but disaster.

That being said, Ao does have his passions in life that he does care about, just nothing to do with social interaction. This can be shown in the form of his artistic nature and unnatural desire to learn about the world and its inhabitants. Often, the young man will lock himself away in his room to study or make works of art that convey the interests he holds towards the world. This ranges from simply clothing items to even Grimm masks, as he has slowly found himself fascinated with the appearances of various Grimm. While this has caused a bit of tension between him and his mother, Glynda sees this as something rather productive that helps keep the young man’s mind off of the negative aspects of the world. It also helps him keep his academics up, something that she takes extreme pride in. So, while he may not have many social skills, nor does he want to have anything to do with his fellow citizens of Vale, Ao does have a creative way to express himself that can sometimes inspire others.

Another way to describe Ao is a rather simple word, unwilling. What may seem to appear as laziness or simply some form of apathy is, in reality, an unwillingness to do various different things. This unwillingness extends to many different areas of his life, including training, fighting, and even the social interaction aspect of a person’s life. Interesting enough, the main thing he is unwilling to partake in is becoming a Huntsman, the one thing that his mother absolutely wants him to end up becoming. That makes his stay at Beacon Academy a very difficult one, filled with tension and sometimes arguments with his fellow students. Many see him as a waste of space, simply occupying a seat that could be taken by a student who actually wants the fame and glory that comes with being a Huntsman or Huntress. Ao, however, simply wants to live his life and enjoy his hobbies that he has. While this has created tension between him and his mother, Ao has made it a point that he is more willing to make her happy by attending the academy than he is unwilling to become a Huntsman. Even if he does not want the life he is probably going to lead, he knows that it is probably the only life he is capable of living.

Now, most people assume that Ao was traumatized by the death of his parents, left devoid of love and affection. This, however, is clearly not the case, as he loves his new mother very much. In fact, he hardly knew his parents when they passed away, so he had very little attachment to them overall. He was actually too young to really understand what had happened, or even remember them for the most part. Still, he does think about them and keeps the two items they left behind in the world as mementos to remember them by. Overall, however, he was not deeply traumatized by their death which lead him to walk the path of a Huntsman. No, he simply lived his life after they passed away, developing into a rather ordinary person with his own views on the world. He is actually known to talk about what happened to them very openly, not really being too sensitive about the subject. After all, in his eyes, Glynda has been his mother far longer than his birth mother.

One of the most unique aspects or Ao’s personality is his fascination with Grimm, bordering a sort of obsession with them. This sort of extends to humanoid Grimm… but it mainly focuses on the creatures of Grimm rather than the humanoids. His fascination with them started from a young age, when Glynda first began teaching him about the world. Learning about them was interesting, and coming to understand how to identify all of the various creatures left him in amazement. He spent hours looking through artistic representations and pictures of Grimm, identifying what they were to his mother and telling her how one might go about defeating them. It was like a game, and he enjoyed it quite a bit. Because of his obsession with them in childhood, even as an adult he is still obsessed with them. As such, he is probably one of the most knowledgeable students at the academy when it comes to Grimm and how to beat them. What he uses that knowledge for, however, is to create things such as Grimm masks or paintings of the creatures. He would rather express them in an artistic way rather than hunt them down and destroy them. This fascination, however, does not prevent him from fighting the creatures when he is in battle.

Overall, Ao is a very decent human being. He does not usually discriminate against others, and he often finds himself avoiding confrontations whenever it is, at all, possible. For the most part, he tries his best to keep to himself and keep others as far away from him as possible. As a result, he does not have many people that he is very close to, and he tends to try his best to keep his distance from others. Most people also find him strange due to his views on Grimm and even the Faunus. This strangeness has led to him being shunned by most people and outright ignored by others. In regards to other people, he does not really let their views bother him, and he tends to ignore their hurtful comments or their taunts. The only opinions he really takes seriously are actual critiques of his character and his capabilities as a Huntsman. Anything that is meant to simply mock him is filtered out by the young man. As such, many people also see him as a rather stoic and serious person with a strong will, incapable of being disheartened by the comments of others. While this may somewhat apply to him, his stoic nature is actually just his natural, unwilling self.

History:
❖ In all of Remnant, there was a time where war was on the horizon. It was during this time that a Huntress and a Huntsman left to fight a powerful foe. This enemy was a leader in the ranks of The Wanderers, a group of humanoid Grimm that only wanted the destruction of all of Remnant, leaving only Grimm to walk the world. The hunters were Violet Vermillion and her husband, a pair that often went out on missions and slayed Grimm for the local villages. During this particular night, they left their two-year-old child in the care of their dear friend, Glynda Goodwitch. She was to watch him for the night while they completed their mission, the pair eager to finish their job so they could get back to their child. The tragic story, however, was that they would never see their child again. Battling the humanoid Grimm that lead The Nevermore, the two of them were crushed by their opposition and thrown aside. They were not found for nearly a week, and, when they were, all that was left was their corpses and weapons. Returning to Glynda, the Huntsmen and Huntresses informed her that her dear friends were no longer among the living. Regretful, she made a vow to raise the young man to the best of her ability in their place.

Over the years, Ao was raised to be a fine young man. Glynda decided it was best to homeschool him and train him in the ways of Huntsmen and Huntresses. He studied for hours upon hours to perfect his knowledge on Grimm and the various dangers that plagued the world of Remnant. Since the age of about five, he has been studying history, Grimm, and the inhabitants of the world relentlessly. As a result, he has been a nearly perfect student in regards to his academics. Ever since he was a child, he had never failed a class that involved studying or strategy. His one fault, however, had always been the physical part of being a Huntsman. To put it simply, the young man did not have the body for such a taxing career. While he was quick and very capable of learning to use swords, he lacked the physical endurance for such a life. Glynda noticed this problem, and she dedicated quite a bit of time to teaching him how to control and use his aura to the best of her ability. What she found was that he was extremely adept at using his aura, far more than most Hunters that she knew. As such, she made sure that he learned to use it for defense and such whenever the trained for combat.

His fascination with Grimm during this time actually developed into an obsession. He began to focus on artwork and such, drawing Grimm and other creatures that were similar to him. Asking for various art supplies, he soon became obsessed with making anything that was related to Grimm. Soon, he discovered what Grimm masks were, and, being aware of what they may symbolize, began to make many of them in an attempt to have something similar to Grimm. Glynda, however, did not approve of this hobby at first, becoming furious when she discovered and Ursa mask within her son’s room. She believed that he may be growing to support people like the White Fang, frustrated that her son would do something of the sort. Over time, however, she discovered that it was merely a hobby he had picked up due to his fascination with his studies. While still being reluctant to accept such a hobby, she was more willing to let him continue to make the masks over time, seeing it as a better alternative to whatever other trouble he could get into in his youth. Eventually, she even began to appreciate the craftsmanship that went into creating the masks, each one seeming to look unique despite being based on a pre-existing concept.

After all of his skills were discovered, Ao was pretty much set to move ahead in his schooling. He became a rather capable fighter over the years, being able to defeat various types of Grimm due to both his agility, knowledge, and use of his aura. About the age of ten, however, Ao discovered something that was startling to him. He awakened to his Semblance at this age, and he discovered that he could see into the future up to a certain point. At first, this was frightening and left the young man fearful. He would see himself getting bullied, or terrible things happening to other people. He could not control it, and there was no real way for him to convey what he was seeing without seeming crazy. For the longest time, he kept these visions to himself, fearing that his mother would see him as incompetent if he admitted his problems to her. Over time, however, it became a secret that he could no longer keep. With one, final vision that showed Glynda getting hurt severely, the young man revealed this ability to his mother, informing her of what would happen if she went on a certain mission. To his surprise, the woman believed him and even revealed that it was a gift that was passed on to him from his birth mother. Needless to say, Glynda was not harmed during her mission due to his helpful warning. Once he revealed his ability to use his Semblance, however, his mother went about training him to master its use so that it would not plague him in life.

Soon enough, Ao became competent enough to prove his worth to Beacon Academy. Being the son of Glynda was very helpful in his application, and his academic scores and capabilities as a team member proved to be enough to gain him admittance to the school. Filled with pride, his mother was overjoyed to welcome him into the school she wanted him to attend since he was just a baby, celebrating the affair with a large party. It was at this party, where he met a good number of Huntsmen he had never seen before, that he was given a rather special gift that he now continues to wield to this day. His gift for passing the exam to enter the academy was his father’s weapons that he had used in life. The two swords had been sent in to be modified so that they could link together to form one large blade, capable of cutting through many substances. This sword was not only a gift… but a way to tell him that he was well on his way to becoming a Huntsman. This was one of the few times in Ao’s life that he actually felt like he may want to become a Huntsman, seeing the happiness in his mother’s eyes and the joy she had when talking about him to her fellow Huntresses and Huntsmen. Bragging about him seemed to be her greatest joy during the party, and he knew that it was because he had done his best. For the woman that took care of him, he would do anything to bring some small amount of joy to her world, especially if he could make a living while doing so as well. After all, all he had was his artwork otherwise.

So, now Ao is about to arrive at Beacon Academy for his first semester of school. Excited, and a little bit unsure, he does not know what he truly wants from his life. He is unwilling to become a Huntsman… yet he wants to make his mother happy by becoming one. What he lacks, however, is a resolve that is his own. As such, he is hoping that he will find that resolve when he starts attending beacon academy. With so many different types of people and classes, there will be plenty of chances to come to a decision about what he wants to do with his life. Whether it is truly becoming a Huntsman or maybe just becoming an artist, he hopes that he will find an answer by the end of his schooling. Besides, as long as he attends the school, his mother will be proud of him and happy. That is the story that will take place at Beacon Academy; that is his story. This is not a story of vengeance, or even a story of tragedy. It is simply a young man trying to find his place in the world and what he wants to do in life.

Outfits:
❖ Ao usually wears the school uniform, having taken quite a bit of a liking to it over the years. Growing up as the Glynda’s son, he had seen much of Beacon academy and began to like its aesthetics.
❖ A blue shirt, black pants, and black gloves. He wears a gauntlet like bracer over his left arm, metal greaves, and a metal chestpiece that covers the side of his chest that contains his heart, covering only half of the other side. The armor is built for speed and to only protect vital ereas.
❖ The clothes in the picture.

Items:
❖ He owns a pocket watch that his mother had kept with her whenever she went hunting. It was broken at the time of her death, causing it to stop at the exact time she was slain by her enemy. It is an antique, made of brass and silver.
❖ A Scroll
❖ A Grimm masks. Fascinated with Grimm, Ao has created a collection of hand-made Grimm masks that are expertly made, resembling the creatures’ faces quite a bit. His favorite mask is the Ursa mask he has made.

Other:
❖ Ao does not really enjoy interacting with others, often spending his time in his dorm room making Grimm masks.

Race: Grimm
Ethnicity: White
Gender: Male
Orientation: Straight
Alignment: CG
Academy: Beacon
Age: 16
Birthday: 5/27
Height:5' 8"
Combat Type: close-range/ slashing - light weaponry
Weapon(s): One-handed Sword
Dust Skill:
Burn Dust: Moderate skills
Ice Dust: moderate skills

Abilities:

Darkness Slash - Due to his race, he figured out how to make a fake semblance. However, his ability doesn't have a limit and leaves a dark shadow print behind so he uses dust to help disguise it. By using Burn Dust, he can not only turn the blade red, he can disguise the darkened earth that the sword hits as ash. Ice dust to make the sword turn blue and the affected areas turn white and break like glass. This ability due to having the affect it has, he limits himself for no dust use for two to three uses so it looks like a real semblance despite it being a problem to limit himself and disguise its uses with dust.

Grimm Creation/Talking - He awaken an ability when learning about grimm and his species. When using this ability, he can create a small spawn pool and make grimm with blue eyes and has blue marks instead of red. Also, those types he can hear what they are saying as well. Making it able for him to respond to them and work with them as a friend, not as their master.

Relationships:
❖ Mother - Silvia Alcott - Dead
❖ Father - Fredric Alcott

Strengths:
✔ One handed Sword fighting: Kay has mastered the use of the one handed swords with ease. But to do this, he gave up the use of the shield for faster actions and the ability to change hands when combat calls for it, leaving his opponent clueless to what hand he will fight with.
✔ Sword Master: Kay's ability to fight with a sword is high thanks to the training from his father and practicing with his friends that are Grimm. However, due to his training, he cannot use any other weapon types.
✔ Agile: Kay is very quick on his feet thanks to his training and his playing with Grimm. It also helps him with dodging nd changing his location when landing.
✔Flexible: Kay can understand things to a point which allows him to stay rational, even with things he dislikes to even hates.
✔Ice Dust Usage: Kay may not use a lot of dust types, but he uses Ice dust to make up for it with one other dust. When using this dust in his sword, it adds coldness to his blade and even able to get through things that would be harder that it would be with his other dust cannot be used to cut through.
✔Unmeasurable Will: Kay has a strong spirit, one that is so strong, it cannot be broken, no matter how bad things get. The cause of this is unknown to many but to Kay himself, but the cause is his determination and his heart to stay true, even to himself.
✔Great Fighter: Kay has a very high capabilities with combat, even with stakes are ten to one. However, with everything else, he is about average which he feels fine with.
✔Battle Tactics: With Kay protecting his home, he learned first hand how to protect his home with his own Grimm in formations and strategies to ambush the enemy in forest environments. But thanks to some books from his father, he has some common basics for other environments too.
✔Grimm Whisperer: Due to Kay's birth, he has the ability to talk to Grimm and understand how they feel. Due to this, he can get some to leave people alone to find out what cause them to harm people in the first place so they can leave people and places be before they are found and killed for just being their.
✔Grimm Knowledge: Kay has built up knowledge from his father teaching him about any grimm that has existed to first hand experience facing the red mark kind with his blue mark kind. Due to this, he figured out how to defeat weaker Grimm quickly, but the larger size ones he still needs time to defeat due to their weakness differs between them but some are common at times.

Weaknesses:
✘His basic knowledge is on the low side, due to being in the forest most of his life with his father, he has been given basic knowledge to go by so he can blend in normal society, not as a hunter.
✘ Shields: He feels uncomfortable using one, hence why he trains so hard to make up the lack of one with his agility and maneuverability.
✘ Dust Usage: Due to his unique skills, he is limited to two dusts that can disguise it to look natural enough to blend in.
✘ Weapons: His training in the sword limited him to just that, but it doesn't force him to use other peoples swords in chase of emergency.
✘ He may react to a Grimm dyeing or people talking bad about his species with a small twitch in the eyebrow.

Likes:
✔ Grimm
✔ His family (Father)
✔ Practice his swordsmanship
✔ Red Meat Food
✔ Learning New Things
✔ Testing His Limits
✔ History Class ( When in school)

Dislikes:
✘ Racial People
✘ Arrogant People
✘ His own race giving it a bad name
✘ Bullies
✘ Fruit (texture issue)
✘ The Red Violent Grimm

Personality:
❖ Kay is a kind soul, trying to remove the rift that is formed between all three species. But due to being the most hated of them all, he knows he has a lot of work ahead of him. However, this didn't lower his spirit as he worked on better his academic and battle skills so he can become a hero one day, even if it has to be hidden and in secret.

History:
❖ Kay was born from a female Humanoid Grimm and a normal male Human. The female Silvia was one of the Humanoid Grimm that blend into society that tried to not get discovered due to the only part of her that can be found out is when her hair grows when people are scared of something, which also increases her strength the longer it gets. During one of her outing, she met a man who was helping a child that belong to a Humanoid Grimm who is named Fredric Alcott and they started seeing each other after some small talk.

Years passed and Kay was born, but it wouldn't last for when he became two years old. People attacked the home and called out his mother, she obliged as her hair grew to lengths unnatural, even to Fredric as they heard Kay cry for his mommy. Once she reached outside, a fight broke out almost instantly to kill her, but many townsfolk fell that day to kill one woman and when they finally stepped inside, they were a mess and there only a handful over the dozens of huntsman, huntresses, and even townsfolk they brought to kill the woman. When they tried to go after the Child next, despite being so beaten up, the father ran with the boy in arm into the forest as far as he could while being chased.

As the father was being chased, he was able to hide Kay in an old dry stump and continued to pretend he had him in his arms. But after the other people went passed him, a new being showed up, a Grimm. Looking inside the Grimm called a Beowulf sniffed inside to noticed a child grabbing it by the nose almost instantly. The child giggled as it backed away from the stump and took a second look as it slowly reached a claw down, instead of trying to eat the child, once touched by this child, it changed into what the child wanted, a friend. Moments passed and the father came back to what he cannot believe to his eyes, his child, his son, playing with a Grimm with blue marking and hence making a life, outside of the walls and into the forest of Grimm.

Years passed and the baby grew into a young ten year old. Kay has been helpful around the house, doing his best at chores, even cleans his room when asked to. Learning how to fight, but also with his fathers permission, use his abilities to create more Grimm to protect his home from the violent ones with the red markings. He gets a few that are non-hostile and are just passing by, but the ones with the red eyes and mark on their face and bones were the ones that like to go after his father the most. But the ones he makes always been kind to him and his father, so something simple as protecting their home in return was nothing he found out later.

The father was still was a little frightened about the situation, but felt more comfortable when he taught his son swordsmanship, basics of dust, and when helping his son with his skill he learned when they started practicing later on. But as time went on, Kay's strength grew more, the grimm he had grew as well due to his power. Some were becoming stronger then basic Beowulf's which kept some of the others in line when attacked from other grimm, which stepped up his game to help his father and protect his home.

A few more years passed and he was found by a man with white hair, wearing a green suit, and sipping a coffee mug. Wishing to see Kay and not wanting to hurt him and his little friends, he came unarmed and without anyone else following him. Kay, being so trusting let him through with a few grimm following behind sniffing the man for anything. When they reached the house, the man introduced himself as Ozpin and heard the rumors about strange grimm that look different and that only attack when provoked and then saw the young man the day before making one before his very eyes. The father was a little nervous, but Kay, he was thrilled to tell Ozpin about what he is, his abilities, what he can do, how many he made so far, and the reason for so many.

Ozpin looked at the young man and the father asking about what he wanted to do for the future. Kay answering quickly, wanted to be a hero, even if he can't stay due to being a Humanoid Grimm. At this point Ozpin got an idea as Fredric sighed, thinking of a way not to crush his dream, Ozpin gave an idea neither Kay or Fredric never saw coming. He wanted his son to attend his school for Hunters and Huntresses, having recommended papers and everything signed by Ozpin himself, they both agreed before he could finish and laughed when they see them hug it out with glee. However, Ozpin warned Kay not to tell anyone else about his heritage other then his fellow teachers, he would need their help if he will get through the school years.

The next month, he was heading to Beacon academy with the sword he was training with, armor he made himself, and with a high spirit. But before he left, his father gave him something to thin about him and his mother all the time, a necklace that once belong to her that now belongs to him, he gave his father a big hug and began to leave so he wont be late. A lot of his Grimm friends were sad he was leaving for a time, but he found a way to cheer them up as he left with a game of chase as he left the forest to the shuttle bay.

Outfits:
❖ Casual Clothers (look at picture)
Armor Clothes

Items:
❖ Mothers Memento - Necklace with family picture of all three inside of it.

Other:
❖ The necklace is the only thing of his mother, he will be heart broken of the contents is ever broken, stolen, or even destroyed. Then you better hope it wasn't on purpose because he will go and hurt you in any way imaginable, secret or not, he will show you not to mess with his late mothers gift to him.

❖ His ability only can create the Grimm of Beowulfs, Ursa Minors, and Boarbatusks. It started with Beowulfs but grew to the other kinds over time, but due to his father was used to only the one, he stayed with it to keep him comfortable. He can create stronger Grimm but it takes time to make the spawn pool for them, especially for a Nevermore. Those spawns are large and can create only one for the time being (updates overtime as Pt.2)

So, only two things, and they're not that big.
To be fair, one of them is my fault xD

1. I'm not quite sure that he follows the color-naming rule (implemented by the creator, Monty Oum). This will soon be featured in character information, and I apologize that it hasn't been added already. Every character in RWBY must have a first name that:
-is a color
-sounds like a color
-means a color (say in a different language)
-makes you think of a color
If you can relate Kay's current name to a color, then feel free to keep it [just explain]; otherwise, I would suggested finding one that better fits those parameters.
2. We'll be allowing our characters growth in this Guild! Seeing as how Kay's going to be a freshman at Beacon, we don't think that summoning or controlling Alphas or stronger Grimm are currently appropriate. Your character could always lead to accomplish that, but for now, I think it's safer to stick with something like a Nevermore being your strongest while staying away from more powerful or unique Grimm. Again, your character can always build to this!

Name: Carmine Hervor
Nickname: Car
Race: Grimm
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Gender: Female
Orientation: Heterosexual
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Academy: Beacon
Age: Seventeen
Birthday: January 18th
Height: 5'5"
Combat Type: close range: blunt&slashing/piercing mid range: piercing
Weapon(s):
Tyrfing: A gold and orange-colored double-edged sword with an asymmetrical hilt guard: a cross-guard on one side and a hand-guard on the other. The hand-guard doubles as a magazine for powdered dust, allowing Carmine to add its effects to her attacks. A cross shape between the two sides glows the color of the kind of dust currently loaded. In most cases, it shines a bright red. On the other hand, the blade of the sword is rather thick, the main body being a gold color covered with an orange plate. This sword folds in on itself to take on the form of a high-cartridge high impact hand cannon for medium-ranged shots. This weapon has a low rate-of-fire and can hold thirteen cartridges in the chamber.

Flinta: A gold, orange, and red-colored shield with a rounded upper edge that comes to a point at the bottom. There are sharp spikes around the edge that serve for a more active defense or more aggressive offense, great for smaller jabs and tearing away at enemies. The top of the shield has a dip in it the shape of a half-circle. A belt of shells can be loaded here, and with a pull of a trigger, a disk within the shield retracts to reveal the mouths of gun barrels. This means Carmine can give an explosive touch to shield bashes or act offensively during a defensive move. Anyone who looks closely can see these rotate before the Flinta returns to its original appearance. This can fire four times before it needs to be reloaded. It does create a powerful enough recoil to move the young woman a few feet, helping with evasive maneuvers.

Skolda: A wide short-sword with a thick cross-guard. Carmine keeps this sheathed for the most part, but if she's feeling especially viscous, this will be wielded in her off-hand while Tyrfing is in its hand cannon form.
Dust Skill:
Burn Dust: Medium-Skill
Semblance: None. As a Grimm, Carmine doesn't have a soul. She therefore doesn't possess the Aura to even have a Semblance.

Relationships:
Amaranth Hervor: Adoptive Father
Griza Hervor: Adoptive Mother
Vito Agantyr: Adoptive Grandfather | Mentor

Strengths:
Ambitious: Carmine's the kind of person who tries her hardest to do the things she sets her mind to.
Berserker: Absolutely brutal in a fight, this humanoid Grimm is quick to use brute strength to take down her enemies. Her fighting style is rather viscous compared to most; it's not often she holds back.
Combat: Carmine has practiced her combative skills every day against local Grimm. She's not completely versatile but has a decent range of weapon-use.
Curiosity: Carmine is very intuitive and easily intrigued. If she finds anything particularly interesting, she's one to explore her curiosities and find out more about whatever it is.
Despair Sense: As a Grimm, Carmine has the capability to naturally sense negative emotions in others. When it comes to a single person being cranky, it doesn't really phase her. Say that person is to be overcome with horrible dread, the girl will be able to feel an aura-like sensation emanating off of that individual. If many people are feeling intense negative emotions, the force of it is almost overwhelming. Due to this, Carmine is seemingly always in the right place at the right time, if anyone needs her.
Hopeful: No matter how bad things get, there's always hope for a brighter future. This doesn't necessarily apply to her, however, having a bit of martyrdom syndrome.
Perception: Carmine is capable of keeping a good eye and ear on the surrounding area, she's ready to jump into battle as soon as it's necessary to ensure the safety of others.
Responsibility: She realizes that she's responsible for her actions and puts her entire being into something to ensure its success, especially when it comes to protecting others.
Sewing: Fighting isn't Carmine's only hobby. She's not a savage.
Valor: Not a whole lot phases this one. Even as a young girl, she was more than happy to fight the much tougher, much bigger Grimm [whether or not she could handle them]. Carmine isn't one to back down from a challenge.

Weaknesses:
Amnesiac: Carmine doesn't remember her time before being a humanoid Grimm nor what form of Grimm she'd taken on in that life. That being said, she also isn't aware of her existence as a Grimm, believing she's a human. Therefore, she can't even produce the regular attempt to create a fake semblance using her abilities as a Grimm.
Aura: The girl lacks an Aura completely, giving those with one a significant edge against her. Without an Aura, she also cannot manifest a semblance.
Despair Sense: Even though it aids in helping others, Carmine's unnatural ability to tell who's in need where could be considered suspicious, especially those who're extra-carefully keeping a lookout for humanoid Grimm.
Easily Impressed: Carmine's from a small town. Everything is cool. This may cause her to fangirl over seeing new Grimm or other sorts of new things that she may have not seen or experienced before.
Elegance: Her fighting style isn't necessarily pretty. When is brute force?
Impulsive: She tries really hard not to, but Carmine is prone to giving into whims. This makes fighting her destructive nature as a Grimm difficult to combat.
Race: Many issues come along with being a humanoid Grimm, though Carmine has only encountered some thus-far. Firstly, as previously stated, she lacks an Aura, an extra protection humans and faunus have against their enemies. Second, there's always this strange urge in the back of her mind that craves violence. It's easy enough to satiate through combat with other Grimm or training, but if there are ever spells where she's incapable of releasing that extra steam, the desires will eat away at her mind. Last, and Carmine has yet to really have to worry about this, is that people are far crueler to humanoid Grimm than they ever could be faunus.
Responsibility: If Carmine fails at a task, she takes great pain in her loss.
Somewhat Dim: Although great at combat and survival, her skills fall when it comes to school-smarts and social situations. It makes lecture classes difficult and sometimes causes her to make awkward decisions in a conversation.
Swimming: She can't swim, never learned.

Personality:
Carmine tends to act a little differently given the situation. On the whole, the young woman is very kind and approachable. She's outgoing and smiles regularly. Basically, she just tries her best to be nice to everyone, human, faunus, and she'd maybe even go out of her way for a humanoid Grimm that didn't want to cause anyone harm. From what she'd heard, however, those were rare cases. As long as no one holds any ill-will for others, Carmine's amiable. On the other-hand, she has no tolerance for bullying or hurting others, this especially goes for the people she cares about. As she is with her family, the Grimm is territorial and protective of her friends and teammates, so she's quick to take action should anything bad happen to them. More often than not, she'll give strangers the benefit of the doubt unless they do anything to make it onto her "shady characters" list. That's only if they're lucky enough to have not already evoke her wrath. Despite not getting the best of grades, she'll participate in class and silently fangirl over all things fighting. Growing up, she didn't have a ton of friends, so her practice when it comes to social norms and etiquette is a little lacking. It's highly possible that she'll "slip up" and say or do something that some may consider rather crude or weird. She's quick to apologize if someone calls her out on it, though. Though not inherently annoying, Carmine is rather impulsive when it comes to small decisions, things she wants, or things she likes. She finds it fine to let little ones run freely as long as her biggest impulse remains in check.

Due to her nature as a humanoid Grimm, Carmine is subject to urges that attempt to coax her into causing disruption. For the most part, this doesn't become an issue. She's become capable enough of shutting it down through sheer willpower, not wanting any sort of harm to come to anyone. The easiest way to tone this down is to satiate it with normal combat or exercise, fighting Grimm, sparring, etc. Sometimes, however, she'll disappear to be alone when it becomes too much. During such times it's better for her to relax and be away from other people. She'll either head out to go do some training or take a break somewhere empty in the school. Nothing quells these feelings like a good fight, however.

In battle, the girl's almost an entirely different person. Combat is the perfect chance to relieve some stress, and that's putting it lightly when it comes to Carmine. The young woman is absolutely brutal and not one for messing around when it comes to taking down Grimm without mercy. When fighting, she takes on a much more serious demeanor, seemingly taking her anger out on the monsters or her other opponents.

History:
As far as Carmine is concerned, her life began when her foster parents adopted her. They had raised her as if she was their own within a small village in the kingdom of Vale. If you asked Amaranth and Griza now, they would've described her as a handful as a child. The village in which she grew up had a small schoolhouse where they had initially sent her for basic education. Almost every day, there'd be an "incident." Carmine couldn't pay attention, Carmine was being disruptive, Carmine was caught picking on another child, Carmine got in a fight... the list goes on. The Hervors loved their daughter very much but knew something like this was a problem. No matter what they seemed to do, however, nothing changed. Soon, she began skipping class and picking fights in the street. When local law enforcement brought her home, her parents were at their wits end. Never had they ever regretted taking pity on the child who had no memory, searching for her home all over the kingdom, or taking her in after all efforts proved futile. No, despite her high level of aggression, they loved her so. These instances only happened around other people, in other places, never at home. When the complaints had come in the first place, it had taken her parents some time to believe them. The child was overcome with distraught. Why did this happen? On the one hand, she wanted to, she needed to, but the others hadn't caused her any trouble. In her right mind, she knew acting on those whims, hurting people, it was wrong... How were they going to sort out such a problem? The answer came to them soon, Griza coming to the conclusion first. Carmine had always been glued to the television screen whenever a news report was covering a recent battle or successful mission of a hunter or huntress. The particular instance from where the idea sparked was no different; however, the situation reported would serve as the perfect example. A boy close to her age had been saved by a blonde woman, a huntress from Beacon Academy. Those people fought for the safety of the others, for the people of Remnant. Maybe there was hope for their daughter yet. Using hunters and huntresses as a method of moving forward, they became Carmine's driving force, her inspiration.

After pulling her out of school, Griza brought Carmine to her grandfather's house, the only hunter her parents knew personally. When her mother was younger, the man had tried to get her to aspire to become a huntress, but battle wasn't something in which Griza had been interested. Now that Carmine was, Vito was more than excited to train the child. It was with him that she learned how to fight Grimm, training every day and using that training as a vent for whatever pent-up rage they thought the girl had. The kid was a natural, surprising the old man with how quickly she was capable of picking up on new fighting tactics and tricks. It frustrated the two of them that it had been taking so long for her semblance to manifest. All in good time, he supposed. Overall, Carmine was ecstatic. Combat seemed to be the perfect outlet, and this way, she could prove that she wasn't the horrible person so many in the town thought she was. Once she became a huntress and was helping people, they'd see that could Carmine could be more than that. In fact, they were already seeing it. Vito, in his age, had become much less active, only taking down Grimm that threatened the town. Carmine, on the other hand, was more than happy to take on extra and was making quite a name for herself with the her other townsfolk. It had seemed that her goals were already being completed, but that wouldn't be the case until she became a full-fledged huntress. She had to go to Beacon. Vito was supportive but wary about the idea. At this point, the young woman would not have a problem getting along with other students. She was no longer having issues getting along with people. In fact, most liked the girl. In a place like that, however, it'd be difficult without a semblance... At least, that's what he'd told her. If she was able to pass entrance exam, then she'd have his blessing for attending the school and more. Upon her success, the old man gave her the weapons passed down his family for generations, going through a few personal upgrades of course. They had been meant for Griza, but they weren't going to get any use that way.

Vito wasn't blind, of course. Due to the amount of coaxing required to divert Carmine against her urges to cause destruction and her lack of activating her aura, let alone her semblance, the man had developed a theory that he only prayed was wrong. She had basically turned up on the front porch of his daughter with no reason or close relatives... If that was the case, the kid was far too honest to be under suspicion, at least by him. Perhaps it was just the fact that he knew her as his granddaughter first and foremost, but he couldn't bring himself to address the subject. If anything happened at Beacon Academy regarding Carmine, however, it'd be all his fault. As the girl made her way to her new school and new life, the old man decided to arrange a meeting with the headmaster. Meanwhile, Carmine could hardly contain her excitement for her first semester at the school. She'd be meeting people with similar interests, seeing other fighting styles, and much more. Most of all, she was going to become a huntress!

Items:
Nothing extra as of the moment

Other:
Carmine's name is pronounced kahr-min. It's the color of a crimson dye created from a powder of crushed cochineal insects. Gross.
A first-generation humanoid Grimm, something happened during the transition to her new form, causing Carmine to not remember her life as a more animalistic Grimm but causing her to be more in-tune with her basic instincts. Her form before this was that of a Griffon. Given that she does not know of her origins, Carmine does not have access to her strength and abilities that came along with her last form nor can she go through the trouble of faking a semblance.

✘ People who don't know their limit.
✘ Dishonesty.
✘ The Wanderers.
✘ Certain teachers.
✘ Pineapple Upside Down Cake.
✘ Kiwi-Lemon Sour Blast Soda.

Personality:
❖ Elliot is a rather strange individual. Despite the rather traumatic past he suffered, he holds a rather upbeat personality that defies what most tragic characters have. Rather than feel sorry for himself, he simply tries to remain as bright and cheery as possible as a means to defeat his personal demons. As a result, he can be hard to deal with at times as far as other people are concerned. He has too much energy, he is almost always too cheerful, and he has too good a habit of getting into trouble with the wrong kinds of people. On top of everything, he hardly seems to take much of anything too seriously that is not life-threatening. At best, one might say that he is simply a goof-off without any real drive to commit to one thing. At worst, one could say he is a deliberate ball of anti-rules that runs around defying whatever he can in an attempt to enjoy his life to the fullest. Combine that with his naturally laid-back attitude, and you have the making of a disaster on your hands.

Now, that does not mean that he is not a complex character without various feelings and is incapable of becoming serious. While Elliot tries his best to fight the idea of being a depressing individual, he can get weirdly serious when the time calls for it. His habit of code-switching is rather apparent when it comes to combat situations, where he goes from zero to fifty in mere seconds. Likewise, when serious topics are being discussed between him and his friends, Elliot's natural reaction is to try his best to remain as calm and collected as possible to not be rude. He knows the time and the place to be a thorn in someone's side. As such, there is no need to act on impulse at the expense of other people's feelings. Elliot is also capable of experiencing sadness like any other person, regardless of whether or not he chooses to admit it to anyone or not. Normally, he keeps his sorrow bottled up inside until its ready to burst, and as such one might never have the chance to see just how broken he can get by the events going on around him. Still, there are other quirks to him.

One of his main "key features" is that he tries his best to be as unmanageable as possible. It is his pace and no one's going to stop him from moving at it. His crazy actions, his instinctual desire to rush into dangerous situations, and his tendency to get into trouble without taking anything else into consideration are all points he values greatly and refuses to try and get rid of. He views these as his best attributes and thinks they bring way more to a group of people than any kind of versatile combat ability or special semblance. His personality can only be described as something akin to pure, unfiltered charisma. Now, do people sometimes get annoyed by this? Yes? Will he care? Maybe? It really just depends on closeness, the situation, and how willing he and the offended are to talk it out. Otherwise, he will keep moving on his merry way to wreak some havoc on a poor, unsuspecting teacher or two.

History:
❖ Elliot's mother was a woman known as Violet Vermillion, a famous huntress that went to Beacon Academy during its height... and its fall. She was a woman that knew tragedy, greater tragedy that anyone could ever imagine. That was why raising a son was something she found extreme pride in, especially given the circumstances of the life she had to live. This story, however, is not her tale, and as such it is important to note that this young huntress perished when Elliot grew to be eight years old. Like many huntsmen and huntresses, she fell to the Grimm that she was supposed to destroy, or at least that was what could be assumed from the mangled corpse that they managed to salvage. Her mission ended in failure, and Elliot was force to grow up without a mother, or at least that was what everyone thought was going to happen. Instead, Elliot was taken in by a friend of his mother, and a woman that had a hand in helping bring forth the attributes that led to his mother becoming a huntress, Ms. Glynda Goodwitch.

After the death of his mother, Elliot went through a depressive phase that lasted nearly two years, eating hardly anything and simply withering away as his new mother struggled to help him through the terrible time in his life. Luckily, she managed to break through to him after she managed to get him to take up painting and mask-making. It did not take much time after that for the boy to start enjoying his life again, finding ways to distract himself from the pain that was just on the brink of his mind. Sure, it was running but could anyone blame him considering the circumstances? This was how he lived his life for two more years, until the age of twelve. After his twelfth birthday, his path to becoming a huntsman officially began, and it was something that Elliot could not wait for. He immediately sprinted forth into his training with Glynda, trying his best to become the best he could possibly be. It did not take them long to figure out what his forte was, especially considering his rash personality and tendency to simply fly into the middle of situations. His "mother" likened him to someone she knew... although he was far more dim-witted than that woman and was too quick to rely on his instincts.

Thus, he trained with Glynda for five years, doing his absolute best to become the huntsman he was supposed to be, to help others just as his mother had done. Glynda was incredibly proud of him as she looked over his acceptance letter to Beacon Academy. For one, she could keep a closer eye on him from then on out, and second he would be able to take part in something great. He would not only have a future, but he would be bringing peace to a world that needed as much hope as possible giving the circumstances of the world. The only thing that she feared was who his mentor would be. Among the candidates for first years this year, there were quite a few that he would not get along with. Opposite of this, there were far too many that could end up simply exacerbating his destructive tendencies and wreaking havoc on the entirety of the school. Such things were worrisome to Glynda, although Elliot seemed to be taking everything in stride. After all, he was forging his own path to becoming a huntsman. He was finally going to be able to help others and prevent another kid from growing up the same as him.

Outfits:
❖ What is detailed in the picture.
❖ He has a butler uniform he rarely wears.
❖ He also has a lab coat and a few other outfits he wears sometimes when he's fixing up his equipment.

Items:
❖ A handy-dandy catch-all gadget that has multiple functions for fixing up his gauntlet. It looks like I hyper-swiss-army-knife.
❖ A Scroll
❖ A stopwatch he keeps on him. It seems to be very important to him.

Other:
❖ He has a general fear of aquatic snake-like creatures that are harmless. Their complete and utter uselessness has led him to believe they have ulterior motives and a true purpose yet to be revealed to mere mortals.

Semblance:Arctic Wind - Arctic wind causes a mini storm around Niraya that can drop the temperature in the around around her to below freezing. prolonged exposure to this symblance can result in frost bite. Niraya is immune to this part of the effect as she is unable to turn off her symblance.

This symblance affects only her unless the symblance isn't suppressed then the wind will start to blow and the air tempeture will begin to plumet quickly and the cold air will persist until she supresses it again. being knocked unconcious or falling asleep will stop the symblance from becoming active. but in the case of it already being active when she falls asleep or is knocked out then the symblance will continue but only to a faction of its full strength.

Personality:

❖ Niraya is a calm helpful person who can get a bit too curious for her own good.

History:
❖ [how you're RPC's life has been so far.]
❖ Niraya was born to a family that lived in Atlas. Her mother a white fox faunas and her father an orange fox faunas. Her older sister was an orange fox faunas but for some reason Niraya was just a white haired human. it was rare for Faunas to give birth to human children. but Niraya is a faunas just didn't have the noticable traits.

When Niraya was 8 she did something she regrets. One day while playing in the town with her 10 years old sister Niraya ends up stumbling across a shady buisness deal. before Niraya had a chance to run they captured her. Her sister showed up very quickly. Niraya fights to get free as her sister fought with the men who were holding Niraya prisoner. during the struggle the man holding Niraya pulls out a knife and cuts Niraya's arms and legs very deeply and tosses her to the ground. Niraya couldn't do anything but watch as they killed her sister right infront of her. they cut her throat and watched as she bled out.

Niraya would have been next with such deep wounds to her arms and legs if it wasn't for a huntress showing up. she was too late to save Sarah, but she managed to save Niraya's life. most of it. due to the blade that was used they couldn't fix Niraya's wounds and had to amputate. Niraya lost both her arms and legs as well as her sister that day.

Niraya's innocent world had been vaporized and she didn't know where to start putting the pieces back together. Her father pulled some strings and got her replacement limbs so she could atleast freely move around. but for the next 2 years Niraya hardly left her room. Her mother hired a therapist to help her. over the 2 years Niraya spent in isolation the therapist would visit and talk to her. the therapist was finally able to break through Niraya's shell and open her up to the outside world again.

From there she begins to take intrest in her father's work. since it helped her move again after losing all her limbs. maybe she could find a way to help others as well. she spent the next 10 years tinkering away at things learing how to work on machines. and even some combat training from her mother. When it was her 20th birthday she heads off to Atlas to become a huntress.
