Tony was content to stay close to Loki for a moment until he heard the snap of a camera and Loki’s words. Looking around, he spotted the photographer and grumbled, hiding his face against Loki’s shoulder. “Can’t give us one afternoon.” He muttered in annoyance. “Do you want to continue or quit for the day? They won’t leave us alone now.”

Loki chuckled softly at Tony's reaction to their being discovered. "You know they can not." Loki answered. "I wish to continue, there is only one photographer right now." Loki stated.

Tony nodded slightly at Loki's decision. Pulling away slightly, he pecked his lips once more. "Alright. Let's try that again." He said lightly, helping Loki with his posture again and skating away, putting more distance between them this time as he stretched out his hand for Loki.

Loki returned the kiss pleased that they could continue. Helping to put himself into the posture he waited until Tony had moved back, noting that the man had moved further this time. Taking a breath he pushed off and skated towards tony. He made it though he had started to slow down before he reached the man. He grasped Tony's hand the same a s before smiling.

Tony grinned again as Loki managed to make it too him again with only the smallest of problems. Squeezing his hand, Tony got Loki to straighten up before stepping back. ‘Now try to get into position yourself. This is your fallback. When you’re properly skating and start to feel unsure, you go back to this, so you have to memorize it.” He said slowly.

Loki squeezed Tony's hand back still smiling despite the camera going off again. They just continued as if the man wasn't there and moved into position to start again this time without Tony's help. He comitted the position to memory. "Now what?" he questioned softly.

Tony watched Loki move for a moment, nodding as he saw him getting the position down. “Now we’re going to try actually skating with two feet.” He said, motioning for Loki to stand straight again. “The key is moving your weight from one foot to another…..that will propel you forward more than trying to push will.’ He said. Showing Loki how to stand first, he then took some time explaining how he had to move his feet, skating bit each time to show him and giving slightly exaggerated movements. When he was sure Loki at least understood conceptually how to do it, he stood in front of Loki, arms out to catch him if he fell. “Now just try skating. Small steps, nice and slow, I’ll be right here to catch you. And if you feel yourself start to go off balance and can control it, just go back to that first position and weight for your balance to come back.” He instructed. As Loki began to move, Tony kept just slightly more than arms reach in front of him, giving him room, but staying close.

Loki breathed in relief when Tony nodded that he had positioned himself correctly. Hearing that they were going to start skating with both feet excited and scared the god. Listening he breathed nodding. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a good deal of more pee getting onto the ice. He didn't pay them any attention focused on tony. He was glad the man was close to catch him if he fell. He did not wish to fall again. Slowly he did as instructed and was surprised when he moved forward. He was careful to keep hips balance and smiled at his progress. that smile faded quickly as he noticed the people who had gotten onto the ice heading towards them. He tried to stop without knowing how quickly and was falling to the ice once more. He reached out grabbing for tony.

Tony was smiling and nodding as Loki slowly began to skate properly. Softly he began to offer soft encouragements to Loki, focusing on him alone. He didn't notice the paparazzi until Loki did, but he was too busy diving forward to catch Loki to do anything. Grabbing Loki just behind the elbow, he managed to keep him from hitting the ice, but couldn't save Loki's balance enough to keep him from loosing his footing. Knowing it was hopeless pulling him up, he slowly lowered Loki down to sit. Finally glancing at the advancing photographers, he sighed. "Sorry babe, looks like the lesson is over today....I'll bring you back though. Promise." He said as he began to help him up.

Loki grabbed Tony as the man grabbed him glad to be lowered gently to the ice. Grumbling at the men and women who had facilitated his fall. "I understand." Loki grumbled unhappily as he got to his feet again. He was disappointed that he had to stop when he had really started learning. Almost as soon as he had stood the media surrounded them asking questions. Loki hung onto tony to keep from falling once more with the pushy people.

Tony held Loki close as they were surrounded and actually reached up pulling Loki’s head down to hide his face against his shoulder. Sure, he knew they’d be revealing everything soon, but not yet. Carefully trying to skate through the crowd, he pulled Loki along with him, not answering any of the questions thrown his way. ‘Think you could cast a bit of magic to make them fall? None of them are in skates.’ He suggested over the bond, having trouble maneuvering both himself and Loki through the rather insistent press.

Loki didn't fight Tony hiding his face he knew they didn't want to reveal things yet. The press getting more shots of him would lead to more clues on who he was before they were ready to reveal everything. Loki could hear them fire off question after question at Tony directing them about him some about the company but most was about their relationship. 'I can.' Loki stated through the bond. He tilted his head a bit so he could see where he was casting the spell and did so. He smiled as he saw people began to slip but like he did when he began to fall someone grabbed out snatching hi by the arm and tugging him down with them. Loki's mind raced for a moment but he quickly decided he couldn't bring Tony down with him so he released the man. He felt embarrassed as he hit the ice again, even though he had been pulled down this time. The press that hadn't fallen toke advantage of the situation and were quickly crowding around him snapping pictures. Loki felt his face growing war, and Loki couldn't and didn't want to take it summoning his magic he disappeared from the ice rink and back to the tower and their bedroom leaving the skates behind.

Tony smiled slightly as he saw people begin to slip and fall and was about to take that opportunity to make their escape, but then Loki was being snatched from his arms and he teetered dangerously on his own skates, surprised by the sudden movement. “Babe!” he gasped as he saw Loki hit the ice, dragged down by a falling reporter. He was instantly struggling with the press of reporters surrounding Loki, trying to get to his mate and protect him again, but the god was gone in moments. Freezing, he cursed, the reporters finally moving so he could see the skates left behind. Picking them up, he was soon being pressed even harder and jostled dangerously on the ice. When someone finally grabbed his arm, he lashed out, punching a photographer, and beginning to push and elbow his way to freedom, cussing them all out and swearing he’d sue every last one of them. By that time some police officers had made it to the scene and escorted Tony off the ice, keeping the paparazzi at bay. As he was changing out of his skates and collecting his and Loki’s shoes, he finally reached over the bond to his mate. ‘Are you alright? You aren’t hurt are you?’ he asked urgently.

Loki heard the call of concern from Tony but it didn't do anything to help his embarrassment. The moment he was in the bedroom he felt terrible for leaving Tony by himself at the ice rink but he had felt so crowded suddenly it was too much. Too much like when Asgard had it out for him when they had been there. He had felt trapped and powerless knowing there was nothing he could do without damaging anything. He paced the bedroom with those thoughts agitated and guilty for leaving Tony. 'I am unharmed...' Loki responded through the bond. 'I am sorry.' he apologized.

Tony let out a breath of relief when Loki responded and told him he was alright. Hearing the apology, he shook his head, even if Loki couldn’t see it. ‘It’s alright babe. They were being way too aggressive. I don’t blame you for anything.’ He responded, sending comfort through the bond. ‘I’ll be home soon.’ He added, already up and heading through the park, an officer escorting him back to his car.
