Natasha followed Steve's gaze around the room, looking at everyone whom had gathered for Thanksgiving. Make shift family who all understood each other and yet didn't. "There are too many silent issues unresolved the least of all this. There is still Thanos, Sif and who knows what else. I wish it will be as easy as Loki telling Tony but there is so much going on that something has got to give. And its bad but i'm hoping that it will just be Loki running, cause we can fix that even if its a long process." she sighed. It was a terrible thing to hope for, for her friends to nearly split or actually split. But in the relative scheme of things it was the least devastating for the world.

Steve listened to Natasha, and she was right in some regards, but he ended up shaking his head. “It won’t be as horrible for the world, or so we hope, but if Loki runs…..we lose them both Nat. Tony wouldn’t survive that. And there is nothing we could do to help him.” He pointed out quietly, watching as Tony moved back over to Loki for some affection. Tony had begun to implode after Pepper. The only thing holding him together now was Loki. If Loki left, especially due to something Tony would blame himself for, there would be nothing any of them could say or do to save him.

Natasha looked to Steve when the man said that it wouldn't be horrible for the world or so they hoped. She knew though that if Loki ran it would devastating for the couple and quite possibly the team who had to try and hold Tony together. "I think Loki knows that, I think he wants to tell Tony but he is just too scared about the past." she sighed running a hand through her hair. She wanted to help the two of them but she didn't know how to get through to Loki and telling Tony could be disastrous.

Steve nodded slightly. “I understand his doubts. Even without a past like his, telling Tony Stark he’s about to be a father would be a monumental task. Perhaps he’ll warm up to telling Tony though. They have Fenrir now, and even if Tony doesn’t try to be a father to him, tony is stepping up a bit. And Fenrir isn’t even his. Perhaps Loki will see that and get a bit of confidence.” He said slowly.

Natasha nodded when Steve said that telling Tony by himself was monumental task without Loki's task. She had seen the two warming however with Fenrir around. Tony had been caring for the pup almost as much as Loki himself had. Of course had been much more the hovering worried parent almost like he was still scared someone would come and take his son from him. "One can only hope I suppose." she nodded just as Loki was calling out that food was done.

Everyone moved towards the main dining room when it was announced that the food was done. All of the guests made a point of mixing with everyone else, so when they sat Sam ended up next to Loki and Darcy beside Tony. Most of Loki’s children ended up across from him, but they were broken up by others. The table was overflowing with food, both cooked there and brought in by others. It wasn’t as grand as a feast on Asgard, but it was certainly a sight to see. As soon as everyone was settled, dishes were passed around and people began eating, complimenting those who’d cooked. Loki’s food was particularly appreciated as few at the table had eaten it and his children were all excited to be eating their mother’s cooking again. “So, do you like this feast?” Tony asked Loki teasingly, poking him around the stool that Tony had built for Fenrir so he could easily eat at the table.

Loki helped bring out the food to the table which he had magically expanded to fit everyone earlier in the day. When he had finished with that task he sat down at the table between Sam and Tony giving Darcy a smile. Loki liked Darcy much more than he liked Jane. Darcy was intelligent and quick witted, it amused him to watch her banter with others and call Thor strange names that the blond did not understand. Loki passed around the food as it came to him taking what he liked. He flushed at any compliments offered on his cooking and just assured those around that it had been no trouble. "This feast is enjoyable." Loki admitted with a smile.

“Told you that you’d enjoy yourself.” Tony said with a teasing smile, remembering how unsure Loki had been about this holiday because he didn’t like feasts on Asgard. Helping to get Fenrir situated with his plate, the genius gave Loki a little grin. “Perhaps you won’t be so quick to doubt me now.” He added, though he was still teasing his mate. ‘It’s nice to see your kids together…and they seem to be enjoying themselves.’

Loki continued to grin at his mate as Tony continued to tease him. It was true that Loki had been skeptical about the holiday because he was not fond of feasts on Asgard but this setting was little like that of Asgard. Because of his forced transformation Loki had never been able to show Bruce and Tony an Asgardian feast. Loki thought it for the better however, this feast was much more relaxed and enjoyable. "I shall not doubt you again my love, not in this at least." Loki teased back watch as Tony helped Fenrir. He had noticed his mate helping his son, acting as though a parent would but Loki still had doubts. Fenrir had only been with them for a few weeks now, it could just be Tony trying to make sure his son felt at home. He started to wonder if it would stop when Tony was sure Fenrir was comfortable here but he was broken from those thoughts when Tony spoke over the bond. 'Yes they seem happy to be together again. I wish they could have had more time like this as children.'

Tony gave a soft, understanding smile. ‘I know you do, but all of you live a long, long time. You have plenty of opportunity to start making it up.’ He pointed out. Picking at the food on his plate, he watched Hela and Pepper talk. They seemed to get along relatively well. Jor still seemed put off by having to be around humans, but he seemed to get along with Steve for the most part. Sleepnir was still remarkably shy, but Clint seemed to enjoy having someone to talk to, or perhaps talk at, and the large man didn’t seem to mind the chatter. Sleepnir did look over to Loki at one point though. “Mother….grandmother said there were rooms for us here….is that true?” he asked quietly.

Lokismiled nodes when Tony reminded him that they all lived a long time and had the chance to make that time up. It was a nice thing to think about, knowing he would have time to spend with his family. He looked around at his children happy to see most of them forming connections to others even if Jormungandr seemed put off by all the humans. Loki was sure that he warm up some eventually. His eyes landed on Sleepnir when the eldest of his children spoke. "It is true, Tony designed the mansion with all of you in mind." Loki assured. He suddenly felt almost hopeful that his son would spend a bit more time with him.

Sleepnir looked a little surprised by the confirmation, glancing at Tony who was purposely pretending to be engrossed in conversation with Darcy, not wanting to spook the shy Asgardian. Looking back to Loki the man shifted slightly. “Might…Might I stay the night?” he asked quietly, seeming embarrassed to even ask.

Loki watched as Sleepnir looked to Tony surprised but his mate was of course ignoring it. Tony did things for others but waved off any thanks in an instant. Smiling gently and encouragingly at his son when Sleepnir looked back he waited. "Of course you may." he answered without hesitation. He knew he didn't need to check with tony for such things, Tony wanted him and his children to be able to spend time together.

Sleepnir smiled when Loki said he could stay the night. It was a relief to think he’d be able to spend time with his mother with a few less people at least. He was highly uncomfortable in this form and not big on dealing with people like this. Getting a little one on one time with his mother sounded wonderful. “Thank you mother.” He said softly. He’d have to return tomorrow, but he wouldn’t think about that now.

Loki grinned brightly when Sleepnir thanked him. He was so happy being able to spend time with his son that he had not anticipated. He grasped Tony's hand under the table squeezing it trying convey how happy he was, and also how grateful.
