I'd have to say Abel Nighroad from Trinity Blood only because he can be funny yet serious when he needs to be. He has a good sense of humor and is strong for being an 'idiot'. He can act dumb but when it comes down to it he's a very smart man.

Who do you think is the Best Anime Character that has ever been created? I mean, hands-down. Ever. Tell me who it is and why you think he/she is the best. If you can't come up with one, tell me your top 3.

For me, best character, hands-down, is L Lawliet from Death Note. He's the most original character in the world and it is hard not to love him.

If i had to have a top 3, it would be:

3. Between Mello aka Mihael Keehl and Lieutenant Colonel Hughes

I really like Roy Mustang and Hawkeye from Fullmetal Alchemist. In fact a lot of characters from that show are really good. They seem to have more 'real' personalities than a lot of animes.

I also love Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji

No doubt L is at the top, but I also love Hiei YYH and Alucard. Light is awesome but only because he's so perfectly evil. He is an extremely well developed character I hate him.
