1. Welcome to the new guild! Look, finally got everything moved over!
2. Because of reasons that will NOT be up for discussion, the pride is now under management by Andranis! Little clap of hands, yes, thank you. Ahaha, this is gonna be interesting...
3. As with any change in pride ownership, changes are eventually coming... But very slowly. There won't be any huge changes right off the bat, and at present the ONLY ones will be purely OOC! We are swapping the owner's list to an Owner Maintained list, for one! For another, bringing in RP prompt ideas! So there's some incentive to activity. Anything big will involve more pridal discussions!
4. That said, there's a pridal discussion here about the future state of the pride! Please talk to me!

It's the close of January, and with it comes the promise on the literal horizon of February Mix n' Match! As before, you MUST have a complete Owner's List post(To the best of your abilities - Missing certs happen sometimes!), plus a certed image, in order to post your lion/ess in Mix n' Match! Last time one got posted that hadn't, and I let that slide because it was still a new guild and a new shift on OOC leadership - I will not let it happen again!
As always, a thing to remember - For Mix n' Match ONLY, there are no hybrid breedings! This is to maintain the lion-to-non-lion ratio for the lineart requirements!
And finally, though the ORP is technically still open as I post this, keep some things in mind about the flowers!
- Unless they're mixed into the brew that, presently, only Brewmistress knows how to make, they are useless as a psychoactive drug! They're nothing more than pretty decorations!
- The brew is to NOT cross the border into the Bahari'mtoto lands! It's not to leave the pride's lands at all! Though its creation was an accident, it is to remain unique to the Kizingo'zaa for lions to access their muses outside the Dreamer's Cave!
- As always, if the brew becomes too problematic, Puzzle WILL cut its brewing back in a heartbeat.
- For diplomatic reasons, Bahari'mtoto are strictly forbidden from drinking the brew. Again, this is to remain a uniquely Kizingo'zaa thing!

With tensions between Bahari and Kizi running as high as they've ever been, there's conscious efforts on both sides to relieve some of it via meetings and discussions between Muhali and Shui. It's unsure where any of this will lead, but most are aware that change is coming, and it's coming fast.
OOC:
We are not in the habit of making announcements for the future, but this is an instance where we felt people needed a bit of forewarning of things to come before we actually implement them. Both in case you feel this will no longer be a pride fit for your lion, or in case you have a lion you'd like to smuggle back in to experience the plot and change as it unfolds over the next few weeks. Things will be listed below in bullet points for easy reading:
1. The insanity blessing is going to come back full force. This means the Muses will come back, and also means that any lion within Kizingo'zaa will be affected to some degree, no exceptions. There has been extremely strange misinformation on what the muses are and what they do - by the time this announcement goes through, we will have updated all information threads in the subforum - READ THEM, PLEASE! It has a lot of updated information, and notes about how to rp the Muse-blessing, etc.

2. We are overhauling the rules, the history, the pride information etc, to pre-gypsy king days and setting back the information the pride had before it was overhauled (Yes, we did in fact have the information saved thanks to a sweet, kind soul that helped!).
3. This means the Ranks will change again (I'm sorry about this guys, but we'd like to push things one way or another and not stay as some weird hybrid of both pride concepts). Overwhelmingly, people seemed to prefer the Age of the Muses, and so do we as pride owners, so that's what we're going with.
4. The conflict with the Bahari set up a perfect time to allow us to change leaders for the pride - icly, Puzzle and and Starfire will step down from the Keeper roles, and some cubs will be trained to take the position by the older, retired leaders of the pride, from the time of Muses. OOCly, this has all be worked out with respective owners.
5. There will no longer be a need for inside and outsider names - your lion will just have 1 name, though they are welcome to keep outsider names as nicknames or be called that by friends or whatever. It just won't be on the cert anymore.
6. The Bahari conflict WILL be, in time, resolved, and while IC tension my persist for a while, it will culminate in families being able to cross borders freely once more to visit each other, do not worry. Bahari that visit Kizi should be mostly unaffected by the Blessing unless they stay for more than a day - in which case, they are free to refer to our stick on how the muses should be heard. Remember guys, as far as anyone in concerned, no one is insane - to them it's just magic or spirits or something like that!
7. The Brew will mostly vanish from use entirely (There is no longer an IC reason for it). Brew Mistress is the only lioness that can make it, and she plans on keeping the secret between her and whomever apprentices to her. Brew will stay out of Kizingo'zaa lore but you're allowed to use it icly - make sure it does not leave Kizi premises in any way, shape or form.
As a closing note, please be aware that while the information threads have shifted to reflex the changes upcoming to the pride, they are not yet there icly - we just wanted to give people ample time to read up and prepare.
