The user can secrete powerful pheromones that have a variety of effects on others, all related to behavior.
Addictive Contentment: This pollen causes a person to develop an addictive habit to certain things, drugs of course to something simple, like Chocolate. It can also relieve somebody of an addictive habit.
Mental Hallucination: This only happens when they're exposed to a full concentrated dose of his pheromone power and often works with his Addictive Contentment. This induces a fever into someone so bad, they see things. This fever isn't harmful, but they will feel a bit warm, which toys with the senses, namely sight. The longer they stay around him, the stronger it has on the effect.
Desire Inducement: He can induce a desire into someone, something they already have or with the manipulation of scents, create something anew.
Fear Inducement: He can cause people to run away from him. Bearing the smell of a bitter strong smelling herb, a panic will begin to arise. Like with all the other scents, the more they smell of it, the stronger the effect, especially when paired with the Mental Hallucination, the more afraid the exposed individuals will become, rendering them to either be paralyzed by fear, black out, or run away altogether.
Love Inducement: As the name suggest, love is in the air and is possibly the stronger version of Desire. A person goes from being normal to lovesick for somebody extremely fast. He often used this not for his own personal glory, but to make a fortune during Valentine's Day. This scent bears the smell of Roses.
Sexual Inducement: Bears the scent of Frankincense. This is a second branch to the Love Inducement itself and speaks for itself.
Sleep Inducement: The one he often uses more than the rest. This is also known as his Calming scent, bearing the smell of Lavender. Whoever smells of this scent loses any form of anger or other desire. They instead become completely calm and the longer they smell of it, the more they're lulled to sleep.
Healing Inducement: Using his pheromones, He can help promote healing. This scent bears the smell of Eucalyptus. It's not fast active like someone who has a Healing Factor, but it certainly gets the job done in saving somebody who may or may not have a serious wound. He cannot however restore a lost limb. This pollen is also capable of getting rid of airborne ailments and other toxins, which to this effect, makes him immune to Poison and other forms of toxins.
Strength/Anger Inducement: This one smells like Cinnamon. While he cannot make the person strong like Superman or Bane, for examples, they are quite capable of lifting past their normal means. This is often mixed with anger, which promotes the raw strength.
Friendly Inducement: Bears the scent of mint. Is a way to make someone less hostile than what they are without causing them to drift. Makes them happier in a way.

if someone can't smell his powers are useless. They are very linked to moods. He is not overly durable

he's a helper and wishes for everyone deviants and all to just sit down and deal with it. He dislikes the war and fighting as he sees the aftermath every day. He a bit of a cynic about the world but truly want a better place. He is an overall friendly snark to coworkers and patients
What is their backstory?
Dexter grew up always labeled as a nerd. He was good in school but only had a few friends. A relatively normal life by most standards. That all seem to shift in high school when he was actually wanting some popularity. It seemed like everyone liked him more or even if he wanted someone to do something they seem to be more inclined to do it. His best friend noticed he would smell different when these off thing happened. Having heard stories of people with powers. They assumed he was too.
After graduating he decided to become an EMT as he was not one for 8 more years of schooling but wanted to make a difference. He learned to carefully use his power to help patients but not tip off his co workers to his power. Now knowing of deviants he assumed he was one. Only him and his friend who decided to be a nurse knew of his strange pheromone power. Besides now a days having a power was not always a good thing.
