Red eyes locked onto Tony when the man took a breath and the god had to remind himself that Tony was different. Tony would not doubt him outright and while he was getting better at that it was still hard. Asgard hasnt done well in a long time, probably since after the war with Jotunhiem, after I arrived in Asgard. God of mischief and chaos." Loki half joked. Listening to Tony say that if he didn't want the father to come to light loki frowned. That wasn't the case but he knew that revealing the man could potentially hurt his other children. "I will not tell you who it is but I will tell you that it is a council member and I have no doubt you will know as soon as you meet him." Loki stated softly. "There is nothing to talk with Thor about, he apologized for weeks after that incident. He hadn't meant to leave me alone but his friends had gotten him drunk as he had me." loki shook his head. He didn't comment that all of Asgard viewed him as crazy already so it didn't matter if he truly was.

Tony frowned slightly at Loki’s hints. So someone on this council that had sent the guards to attack him was the father? Tony was liking Asgard less and less the longer he was here. Nodding when Loki said he’d already spoken to Thor about this, he caught Loki’s chin and pulled him into a kiss. When they separated, Tony met his eyes. “I’m sorry that you’ve had to deal with all of these things. You are the last person in the world that deserves this.” He said slowly. “But I hope you know that none of this is your fault, not in the slightest.” He continued.

Loki was surprised when Tony grasped his chin pulling him into a kiss. Looking at Tony when they separated Loki felt a bit anxious when the man apologized. "It is not your fault there was nothing you could have done." Loki stated. "Some of it is my fault, I caused Thor to go to Jotunhiem by bringing a few of them here to steal the casket." Loki chuckled softly but there was no humor in it.

Tony frowned slightly at the reply he got. “Yes, but you did that with good intentions. Was it the best possible choice? Probably not. But we can’t all be perfect; there isn’t a single person out there that makes the right choice all the time.” He said slowly. Smiling slightly, he shook his head. “And I’m glad you did that though, even if it’s selfish of me. If you hadn’t done that, we never would have met. The Avengers never would have gotten together, so Steve would still be wandering New York without knowing a single person, Bruce would be hidden away in some jungle in the middle of nowhere convinced he was a monster, Natasha and Clint wouldn’t have anyone that they can be normal with, wouldn’t have a place to call home, I wouldn't have found some of the few people I can honestly call friends, Thor wouldn’t have found Jane, which means he probably would be king now and pursuing Sif, and a lot of the heroes on Earth would still be hiding, afraid of persecution and judgment.” He said softly. “I know you have suffered because of your recent actions, and I am not saying that you deserve it at all, because you don’t, and there was nothing good about what has happened, but you are the source of a lot of good, a lot of love, and a lot of happiness Lo, even if you aren’t really aware of it.”

Loki nodded when Tony said that he had done that with good intentions. It was true, he knew the frost giants were not going to succeed but the result would stop Thor from being coroneted. Hearing to y say he was glad Loki had done it surprised the god and that surprise grew as to y listed off all the good his actions seemed to have done for those on Midgard. "I caused all that?" loki questioned. Warmth flooded his chest knowing that he had caused some good where he always thought he was nothing but trouble. "Thank you Tony." Loki gushed hugging the man.

Tony gave a small nod at Loki’s question. Loki’s had been part of what had caused all of that, there could be no denying it. Chuckling as he was hugged, Tony returned the gesture. “There isn’t anything to thank me for.” He said lightly. “It’s all a matter of perspective. You’ve only been around people that have blamed you through the years. And that’s not always the side of the story that needs to be heard. Knowing you, I’m positive some of the things you’ve been ashamed of or been punished for in the past actually had some really good results, you’ve just never taken a step back to look at them like that.” He said gently. Nudging Loki, he nodded at the table. “Now come on, we both need to finish our food. We both haven’t eaten and Skadi went out of his way to bring that to us.” He said lightly.

Loki shook his head when Tony said that there was nothing to thank him for. Loki didn't believe that for an instant, Tony had shown him the good in his actions where he had seen none before. It made him realize that through all the horrible things that had happened to him that there had been good to come out of it somewhere. That alone was the most gratifying thing he had heard in awhile. Loki didn't care that it mattered on perspective, because Tony had that perspective. It was another thing that made the man wonderful. It was hard to take that step back and look at the good when all the bad was being shoved in front of you. Hearing that they needed to finish their food loki nodded and removed himself from Tony's lap. Rearranging his chair he sat down to eat again. "What do you wish to do after this?" Loki questioned. He still wasn't comfortable exposing himself to Asgard as he was especially without his magic and the protection of his armor which would make him too warm.

Slowly standing as well, Tony moved back to his seat. Glancing up at Loki as he ate, he shook his head. “We don’t have to do anything until Frigga comes if you don’t want to. I know you aren’t comfortable with all of this.” He said slowly. He was kind of eager to at least get to the library, find something explaining things that he was growing curious about.

Loki frowned when Tony stated that they didn't have to do anything if they didn't want to. "That is not what I asked Tony." loki complained. "At the very least Skadi could escort you."

Tony shook his head slightly at Loki’s words. “I’m staying with you.” He said lightly. ”I want to see Asgard with you, not with him. I want to be able to share this with you and try to enjoy myself, which I can’t do with a stranger, or knowing that you’re stuck in your room upset. Besides, I’m pretty sure it’s a better idea for him to stick around you, just in case.” He continued, taking a long drink from his cup. “Maybe we can go to Frigga’s library though. Doesn’t sound like many people go there. At least not without her permission at least.”

Loki opened his mouth to protest when Tony said that he was staying with him. Hearing that the man wanted to see Asgard with him and not someone else made the god close his mouth and smile. He didn't argue that he could protect himself and didn't need Skadi to watch over him. "Of course my mothers library. Very few go in there and they must have permission." Loki chided himself. He should have thought of it earlier, he always had permission to be in there. "We can go as soon as we finish eating. I will have to wear the cloak to get there but it is not far." loki stated eating once more.

Tony returned the smile he got. Sure, he wouldn’t mind poking around Asgard on his own, and if it had been under different circumstances, he might have snuck off, but with enemies of Loki wandering around and with the knowledge that Loki was unhappy at the moment, he was going to stick with the man. Grinning at the mention of Loki needing a cloak, he chuckled. “And some boxers at least babe. I’m a little too jealous to let others catch a glimpse of you like this.” He smirked, giving a little wink.

"I would not run around Asgard or my mothers library wearing nothing." loki replied appalled. "Besides no one here but you would want to see me naked like this, very few want to see me naked in my regular skin." loki stated. He got up and moved to his dresser to fish out some light weight clothing.

Tony laughed at Loki’s face. Hearing his next words, Tony shook his head. “I think you’d be surprised. You are a very attractive man Lo, even if you don’t want to admit it.” He said lightly. “If I took you to a club back on Earth, everyone would be all over you. People just haven’t been vocal about here because of that law.”

Loki looked uncertain when Tony stated that he was sure others did find him attractive but the law had stopped them. "Tony..." Loki frowned when the man said that people would be all over him if he took him to a club. "The only one I want all over me is you." Loki stated.
