Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles

[Kevin Owens]

Owens would attempt to lock AJ's head between Owens' body and arm, going for an inverted DDT onto the mat.

As AJ was starting to recover, he felt what was about to come to AJ. A kick to the gut was not gonna take out AJ at all, as AJ quickly tried to lift up his knee to hit Owens' face before he could hit the inverted DDT, trying to stun him!

 

[Kevin Owens]

Owens had felt the knee connect with his skull, completely letting go of AJ. He would slowly fall down onto his butt in a seated position, holding onto his skull.

AJ Styles took a time to recover a bit, but he had enough energy to do what he needed to do. He looked at the sitting Owens, as AJ ran to the opposite side of the ropes and came back to Owens going for a even harder forearm to the face of Kevin!

Kevin would have honestly set himself up for that, getting struck by the forearm and falling back onto the mat. He rolled over onto his stomach and began to hold his face, the target for all these forearms.

AJ Styles would see Owens down, as Styles then started to walk to a far corner. He waited for Owens to get up from any side of the ring, rather if it was the ropes or just another corner.

 

[Kevin Owens]

Owens would crawl to a corner, the one completely opposite of AJ Styles. He would turn around and use the ropes to get him up to a vertical base.  

[Allen Jones Styles]

Styles would measure Owens in the corner, as AJ ran to Kevin and went for a huge flying corner clothesline!

 

[Kevin Owens]

AJ's clothesline would connect on Kevin, right across his rather large chest and under the neck.

AJ Styles would not let Owens fall or stay in the corner at all, as Styles would grab the arm of Kevin and drag him in the center of the ring. He would then go for a quick scoop slam to Owens.

Kevin would have some how been lifted up and slammed straight on his back onto the mat.

AJ held his back, as it took a bit more to lift up Owens, but it was done. AJ Styles rested a bit, as he bounced off the ropes and then went for a knee drop to Owens to finish it off.

Owens had a knee driven straight into his face. Following the move, he would sit up and grab onto his face in agony.

AJ Styles went for a quick cover on Owens, hooking the far-leg.

AJ Styles must have been mistaken. He wasn't facing some measly, weak Japanese star over in New Japan. Kevin Owens would kick out at 1
