Name: Tobias West
Alias: Blackheart
Powers: None
History: Tobias was born into the high life. His parents were obscenely wealthy and he was their only heir but the world was not kind enough to leave him alone. One night when Tobias was twelve, he and his parents were walking towards the car when a man attacked them. He shot both of Tobias's parent and then shot Tobias. It was in fact their vast wealth that saved Tobias's life and almost saved his father's. His mother was dead before she hit the ground. Tobias woke up in a hospital, his father slowly dying in the bed beside him. His father said nothing of forgiving the man who attacked them, he had no saint like values. He was brain dead. Tobias was forced to make the choice between leaving his father in his state, or pulling the plug. He was young, he didn't want to loose his father and so for two years he left his father on that hospital bed and with each day his anger and hatred towards the world grew stronger. Finally, when he turned fourteen he pulled the plug and watch whatever life was left in the old man fade from his eyes. The young boy spent the next ten years spending his wealth around the world. He traveled to far away places to learn the fighting styles and languages the could offer. He conditioned his body to defeat any other man who challenged him and when the ten years were over he returned to his home town to find it changed. His sudden disappearance had lead man to believe he was dead. His father's company had been run into the ground by competitors. Tobias salvaged what he could but the company was gone. So he took up the work of a hit-man, putting the fighting styles such a judo, krav manga, karate, kung fu, and eskirma that he had spent ten years mastering to use. Since then he had perfected his skills.

There was a time when he was paid by hunters to run for mayor but the plan quickly fell apart due to a impossible to predict deviant. Tobias decided shortly after that he was done dealing with powered individuals. These days he works for whoever is willing to pay without any remorse or regret. He rarely accepts contracts related to powered people.

Name: Jason Whitehall
Alias: The Magician
Powers:Transmutation: Jason can transform, alter or transmute matter, energy, elements, objects, beings, etc into anything else, either completely or partially, permanently or temporarily.
History: Jason has been fascinated by the idea of magic since he was a young boy. He basically forced his parents to take him to every circus, or magic show that ever came by the town they lived in. When he was thirteen and discovered his abilities, it became his life. Once he graduated high school he ran away. His parents had always been supportive but his desires were costing them too much. He was tired of being a burden. He stowed away on a train and just kept going. Eventually he ended up in Colorado. There was a circus going through and he was able to convince the show runner to give him a thirty minute slot. It took a lot of convincing. That night he performed an escape. His hands and legs were bound together and he was dropped into a tank. Allowing him to perform such dangerous stunt also took a lot of convincing. Once he was in the tank he turned the chains into water and swam out. The crowd loved it and the show runner gave him a permanent position. Jason spent several years with the circus, during which he learned that most of the people there were runaways. The circus began to feel like second home. He stayed with the circus until he was twenty five at which point he began his own shows. With his own shows becoming increasing popular he was able to send money back to his parents and the circus. Both things that had raised him. Since then he has been on his own performing. No one really knows what he is like outside of the character he has created. After a confrontation and brief time engaged in the conflict with the Dominion, Jason returned to his life on the road performing magic shows. He remembered what made him happy and chose not to deviate from it.

Name: Samuel Hyde
Alias: Cerebro
Powers: Telepathy: Samuel has mastered his telepathy over his life. His abilities range from reading and mentally communicating with the minds of others to controlling the minds of many. He does struggle to fully control the body of groups but a single person is easy. Samuel prefers to manipulate their thoughts so they want to do what he wants them to. It is easier than actively taking control. He has even learned how to torture others using their thoughts through the illusion of pain.
History: Samuel had a abusive father growing up. He learned to control his abilities through his hatred and anger so the first abilities he developed were the more violent ones. One day his father went to his him and Samuel went to far. He put everything he had been practicing into play and he killed his father. Orphanage after orphanage turned away the freak who tormented the other kids until finally the government sent him to the Advocate. He spent several years learning to control every aspect of his ability before he chose to leave. They didn't try to stop him. He began to study law, using it as a way to get closer to those he considered scum. Within five years he worked as a partner within a well known law firm. He uses that position and his abilities to find and kill those he believes truly deserve it. There were rumors about him working with the Regime but no one has any evidence and so it is wise to assume he does not. Recently Hyde was arrested for the murder of various individuals which he confessed to. No one knows why he allowed himself to be arrested but none care to find out. He is kept in isolation to prevent him from harming others.

Name: Ambrose Howell
Alias: None
Powers: Electromagnetism Manipulation: While the broad umbrella of his ability includes many possibilities, Ambrose is only aware of his total control over all types of metal. He was never a scientist and so he never really looked into why he could move and manipulate metals with his mind. If he were to look to expanding his powers he wouldn't know where to start. As far as his abilities go, the size of the object he is moving rarely matters. Naturally a satellite would be harder to manipulate than a coin but he still would be able to effect it.
History: Ambrose was never the only deviant in his family. He is forward in that aspect alone. The rest of his youth leading to him becoming a private investigator is shrouded in rumor. It is known that at some point he and his brother ran away from home only to be pursued by their father who turned out to be a hunter. At some point after they ran away but before the Regime attack on Los Angeles Ambrose and his brother Adrian ended up in Russia, still pursued by their father but that was the last location they were followed. In Russia, Adrian was charged with several counts first degree murder and terrorism. Adrian was put in the Black Dolphin Prison and Ambrose was forced to leave the country. What happened between their family in Russia is a subject of debate. Ambrose returned to the states and moved to New York where he began working as a private investigator. There was rumor of a confrontation with his brother and neither have been seen since.

Name: Adrian Howell
Alias: Vladimir Chelovek
Powers: Vibrokinesis: Vlad has the ability to control the vibrations of the world. During his years in the Russian prison he gained mastery over an ability he had only dabbled in before. What he had used to weaponize concussive force became an instrument, not just a tool, and he plays the vibrations of the world with mastery. With his power he can shatter objects, vibrate his body at frequencies that render him intangible, cause earthquakes, and perform many other feats.
History: No one knows how or why Vladimir ended up in prison but it is on record that he was only there for five years before he escaped. During his time inside he made friends in the Bratva. He spent his time in that prison honing his abilities and with the help of other inmates he was pushed to try new things. Once he had mastered the power in his hands, escape was easy. He walked right out of the prison. Vladimir remained in Russia for a short time, building his reputation in the Bratva as to ensure his membership. He did anything and everything that was asked and he was not looked over when it came time for rewards. Eventually he made his way to America where it is expected that he was to build upon the Russian Mafia in the United States. He was there for two years, likely establishing connections, before he joined the Dominion. Conflicts later resulted in him abandoning the Bratva shortly before disappearing altogether.

Name: Adam Ward
Alias: The Warden
Powers: Kinetic Energy Absorption: Absorbing the kinetic energy, or energy in physical movement. Being able to absorb the energy of physical attacks, such as punches, bullets, and concussive forces, making Adam very hard to fight or incapacitate. Adam has experienced accelerated healing, slowed aging, and largely increased strength and speed which scales based on the amount of kinetic energy he has absorbed.
Kinetic Energy Manipulation : User can transfer kinetic energy from one object to another, thus strengthening their attacks, or tearing holes in walls with a simple touch, turn an object's potential energy into kinetic energy, making it explosive, or cause target to be unable to move or unable to stop if in motion.
History: Vigilante, crime fighter, martial arts champion. Adam has been called many things. He trained in the Dominion only to fight with Providence. Recently he has gone to help smaller pockets of Providence fight the Dominion. He is not often heard from.

Name: Nikolas Kokinos
Alias: Nick or Nicky
Powers: Limited Power Immunity - He is not effected by powers of a non- physical nature.
History: He's the totally human not a deviant best friend of Dexter Jarrett. He is the only one who knows of Dex's power at the moment. He quite goofy and quite the nerd. He works a trama nurse sometimes helping patients his best friend brings in. He shares his thoughts on the war with Dex, they both want equality and less fighting. He does not belive he has a power.

Name: Theodore Zane
Status: Deviant
Power: Binding Contract - Zane can create a contract between himself and someone else, either verbally or written. Written contracts are more binding as it requires more of his power and are generally written by hand, in the inky black saliva that he creates. Both parties have to consent to the terms of the contract, for a verbal contact this can be as simple as saying 'yes' even if it was in sarcasm. Written contracts need to be signed and 'balanced', after committing to a written contact a black tattoo with appear on both parties arms as proof of the deed. Failure to adhere to these contracts can lead to a variety of negative effects on the party: paralysis, diarrhea or sudden depression for breaking a verbal contract to name a few. Effects of breaking a written contract are much more severe, recorded effects have been; psychosis, suicidal tendencies and even organ failure. Zane is capable of having a hundred and fifty contracts active at once.
History: Theodore Zane is the deviant warden of Providence's D.C. Prison. He rose to the position after the previous warden was killed during a riot, the man had been a racist who segregated the population in the prison by first giving more benefits to the human populace and then by segregating the remaining deviant populace and instigating infighting between clicks. Since taking over he has put the prison back in order, by using his powers and his particular brand of justice. Despite how a warden is typically perceived, Zane is generally fair to those stuck in his company that don't break the rules. To those that do, he has no problem with inventing some creative punishment to make sure the rest of their time is spent productively.
