Enhanced Speed: Marcus possess the ability to move at speeds up to the middle limits of mach 3 and he has mastered enough of his ability to apply it for some other purposes such as but not limited to, Blur Creation, Cyclone Spinning, Intangibility, Molecular Oscillation, ect.
Speedster Physiology: Marcus possess an enhanced physiology suited for movement at immense speeds. His cardiovascular and respiratory systems are many times more efficient than that of a normal human being. His brain processing speed is hundreds of times faster than the normal human's, so that he can operate at immense speeds. The chemical process of his musculature is also highly enhanced so that his body does not generate fatigue poisons, the normal by-product of physical locomotion, which force the body to rest. His joints are smoother and lubricated more efficiently than those of a normal human being.
Do they have any notable weaknesses?
Marcus's speed is bound to his physical health. A broken leg does heal faster for him but he still can't run on it when it is broken. He also has fits on occasion where he can not use his speed. He does not know what caused it but the fits began after his time being experimented on. The current theory is that his speed negatively impacts his spine and after an extended period of use, his body prevents him from using the speed so that it can repair his spine.
What is their personality like?
Marcus is a playful person who rarely takes anything seriously. When he does, it is generally because of the personal cost if he does not. He is relaxed a lot of the time and enjoys his freedom. There are times when it seems like he has a temper but he has been able to control that for the most part.
What is their backstory?
Marcus's life began in Providence, drifted to the Dominion, returned to Providence, and then left it again. He was born and quickly brought to Providence to help them manage his abilities. What were parents to do with a baby crawling around at 30 miles an hour? He grew up with them until an invasion of one of their facilities. Marcus went to catch the people who had attacked but he was taken. A man named Vergil Kronin captured him and experimented on him for months.It was during that time that the damage to his spine must have occurred. Eventually he escaped, he killed all the doctors there and any subject who had been driven too far to stay alive. However, he told everyone that he killed all the subjects so the few he helped escape would not be hunted.
Then began the year of vengeance. He joined the Dominion because Providence had yet to take an active role and the Dominion helped him find Kronin. Due to rising issues with Providence, Marcus attacked Kronin's facility on his own. If not for the dominion's training, he would have died in there. Instead he found Kronin and took his revenge. He cut the man's face off and paralyzed him but he left him alive. With his revenge taken, he squared his debt with the Dominion and left active service (technically still a member). At some point during this time he met a man calling himself "John Smith." The man was the father of two people Kronin had experimented on. Marcus had not killed the man's children but the doctors had. The man knew he could not have his revenge on Kronin so Marcus gave him a different target for his vengeance. The daughter of the lead scientists in the lab. He never found out what happened to that man. These days Marcus just tries to live his life. He isn't exactly an activist for either side of the war but if one asked, he'd probably help them (if provided incentive.)
