He moved through the crowd to avoid as many people as he could. With the constant movement, this was nearly impossible. He was nearly elbowed in the face once and almost tripped over something soon after. Great! A repeat of last last year, he scowled and thought to himself bitterly. This was why he was planning on skipping this year. There really was no point in coming.

Finally exiting the larger group of students, Boroque let out a sigh of relief. He thought he was safe until he recognized one of the older students. He never spoke to her, but saw her once or twice. "Ummm... Boroque Delacriox, second year. Who are you?" Now he didn't mean to be paranoid, but the slight twitch in her ears and the finer details of her expression seemed to pointing to something other than a simple introduction. Peculiar, very peculiar. Why did an older student want to talk ro him, anyways? Curiosity, perhaps. Perhaps she noticed that he was trying to skip? All color drained from his face at that thought.

XXXThe rather stoic and ever neutral facial expression of the Queen stayed as she listened to her daughters response. "I'm surprised you haven't found him yet. He tends to attract crowds of people with his size and demeanor." she joked, covering her mouth slightly with her hand. "If it would be ok, i'll accompany you to find him." she would speak up again, before turning and waving off the guards. Their presence making it feel like she was on a leash at all times. "Have you thought about maybe attending the academy?" she would attempt small talk. Being of the more quiet type, Lunafreya was never very skilled at conversation with others....especially her family.

Luna shook her head, while her ears twitched. She remember to stay out of trouble. She walked towards to the door, she had a one thought comes to her mind, "Now where did my parasol flied off, I better check outside," she thought to herself before she exited out of Auditorium to look for her parasol.

While on the way to outside of the building, she recalled her mother's lesson about parasol. She begin to talk to herself with a graceful smile on her face, :Like mother said, always bring parasol during sunny day," she said to herself with joyful tone, while walking like a lady. Normally, the princess would find the joke to be amusing, but she was in no mood to laugh right now, considering that she was still intent on the current goal at hand. "I won’t mind that, Mom," she spoke in response to the offer to accompaniment. And then, there were students who were awed at the sight of the two royal figures. At the question on whether she would attend the academy or not, the murmurs became a bit louder. Some were indeed wishing for the dream to come true while others were fearing at the sight of her, knowing that the royal lineage should not be messed with. "I do have some private tutors for classes but... my mind's not sure on the option to attend like a normal student here in this academy. Give me time to think about it." Honestly, she would rather spar and be content with the private tutoring sessions. But on the other hand... being confined within the castle premises would be boring after a while.

But the talk about education would wait till another time. Cathy simply ignored the continuing whispers as she opened the doors, allowing the Queen to follow beside her. At the least the guards would help to keep the students at bay in case they would so something foolish towards them.

Oho? It seemed he was changing colors.. but one typically blushed for a pretty girl not flushed like it was a scary one. How mean! Her fox ears perked up and a mischievous grin grew as the urge to pick on him grew. Perhaps she could absue the fact there seemed to be such a heavy guard presence for a mere school orientation from the sounds of it. "Detective Amarica, I'm here to keep an eye out for.. suspect activity." She smiled and gave him a sharp and somewhat accusing stare sprinkled with suggestion as she approached a bit closer to draw his focus to the innermost part of the campus and, without words, make it feel as though he appeared to be headed outwards. She'd then proceed to appear to be in deep thought about what he may have been doing as she really thought o how to continue her ploy and get into his pant.. erm heart and mind. The detective angle was surprisingly usually pretty effective but the more she listened to her surroundings the more it seemed that this could possibly have been a bad idea to reveal, especially since this Delacriox character seemed to actually be up to something.. she'd have to question him a little just to be safe. "So what might you be up to? You seem to have gone ghostly pale.. nervousness perhaps? But then you are a second year yes?" She laid it on thick, for a number of reasons pertaining to lessons learned about similar situations. If she toured around with him perhaps she could even see what was so special about today's orientation.

XXX"Well whatever you choose darling.", wanting the best for her child was a true thing...even though she wasn't the most engaged parent. Politely walking through the door, Lunafreya would give a slight head nod in thanks to her daughter. The whispering was something the she was use to, maybe this time it wasn't about her, but it was an ever happening thing - that never seemed to stop no matter where you were. "Now let's find your fa-" her words cut off by the appearances of one of the King's messengers. Looking back towards her daughter, Lunafreya would sigh. "I guess he found us first.". Waving at the guards to follow, the Queen would head towards the ballroom.

Catherine was glad that her mother would give her time to think about the decision. Being a princess meant having to make some decisions, and while suggestions would be thrown in every once in a while, it was up to her entirely on whether to jump in or just eschew them entirely. She was about to affirm to the Queen's words about the search when the messenger showed up to the duo. It turned out that the two had to show up at the castle ballroom because of an important announcement. She sighed, letting out a small frown. "Hoping that this announcement will be worth my time."

The princess simply followed her mother as they departed back to the castle, the students backing away a bit to grant them a path, more so with the guards surrounding them. Whatever the old geezer wanted to speak to the family, it would better be something that would pique her interest.

Spending his morning roaming the academy and making sure everyone made it to the auditorium was something Ezra had grown used to. After coming to the academy and graduating, he became a professor and made this a yearly task. He remembered his first time entering the academy and scurrying to find the auditorium. It was one of the things he remembered from his first-year. Coming into the academy, his goal was originally to go through his years focusing on his studying and avoiding fellow students as much as possible. Ultimately the plan was soiled when he slowly but surely became friends with others and his will to open up and befriend others came back; of course, not as much as it once was. To say the least, he had a lovely experience at the Academy, and being able to see the new students and guide them as he once needed to have brought him a nice sense of nostalgia. Ezra glanced at his pocket watch to check how much time remained before the orientation speech would commence. With a decent amount of time left to spare, the red headed male made his way to the auditorium so he could sit down and get settled.

The loud chatter of faculty and students filled his ears as he made his way to where the rest of the faculty was seated. He offered them the smallest of smiles before he took his seat. The professor glanced around at some of the student's giving as nod of acknowledgement if they met his observant gaze. Moments later, Marisenn had approached the podium to introduce Headmaster Tameron Lo Kharao. As the ceremony commenced he noticed Professor Lerato enter a bit late which wasn't quite like him, either way he shrugged it off to listen to the speech. The male leaned his elbow on the arms of his seat and leaned his chin on his fist, giving the students who couldn't seem to keep quiet a blank yet stern look. It was rare that they needed to sit and listen to a speech so it was quite agitating to see that they couldn't pause they're chatter and listen for the time being. The information was very much important for the newcomers as well. As the speech came to an end the Headmaster walked back toward where he and the other professors were. Ezra nodded to him and told him he did a good job despite all the students talking. His eyes focused on Ryser who decided to give the students a piece of his mind. The fiery haired male found himself looking away, trying to hide the amused smirk playing on his lips. It was interesting to see the student's reaction to the scolding, even though they deserved it. Seems some of them weren't used to being told what not to do.

Ezra stood from his seat and stretched his body out. He glanced as Gannon went off to see to Ryser. He also took note of Lerato speaking to the headmaster, most likely explaining his tardiness. Running his hand through his hair, he took out his pocket watch once more and decided to watch over the students for the time being. He could tell this was going to be an interesting school year. He would be interested to see which of the faces in the auditorium and the ones outside of it would be in his class. But of course, that was something he would figure out in the future.

"Yes, I am a second year..."

He didn't want to say anything more, mostly due to the fact that he was rather nervous to be talking to another person. Usually he simply kept to himself, hiding in the corners of the room. He would even gone as far as to break the school rules to stay away from others. Well, that was his original intentions. It was too late now for that. People saw him. He couldn't very well sneak off after being sighted.

"So, you are a detective? What does a detective want with me, Amarica?" After all, there were far more interesting people around as far as Boroque was concerned. He simply couldn't understand why somebody would go out of their way to talk to him, of all people. Unless... he seemed suspicious. Well, he was trying to break the school rules earlier. The keyword being 'was'. He stopped trying to leave before Amarica ever laid eyes on him- or so he thought. Now he couldn't be too sure.

Some of the teachers seemed to be leaving by now and he wondered if he could go soon. That would be ideal. Yet... he'd have to meet up with whoever was assigned to be his roomate after. Hopefully he wouldn'y have to deal with that. He sighed at looked back at Amarica. What did she want, exactly? There had to have been a reason for this. Or, perhaps, Boroque was overthinking things as usual.

"Hmhm, a second year certainly wouldn't be lost, you appeared to be headed somewhere in a hurry" a gross exaggeration but nothing could really be done about it, now for the cherry on top. All she had to do was make sure she didn't go too far and scare the life out of him "You haven't perhaps stolen from any royals have you? That would be quite the offense afterall..." Her ears perked up and her tails wagged as she immediately went way too far with it. She needed to roll it back a little "Of course if there was something else behind your suspicious behavior maybe it could be overlooked?..." Ah... now it sounded a bit like blackmail?? She could go with this maybe but she remembered the goal was to befriend him not just slip away behind some building with him.. "Um actually just come with me." she'd say suddenly even if she had to interrupt him. "Come come, we'll see if you're innocent very soon though I'd still like to hear your story, especially since you look so guilty, don't worry.. youre not under arrest yet.." She'd gesture him towards her and hold out her hand like she wanted to hold hands.. so she could guide him somewhere of course she was a detective afterall. She had a moment's notice to exercise her powers as a detective and examine the room for anything suspicious or unusual worthy of investigation. If she acted quickly she could maybe brush the blackmail attempt under the rug. Of course it wasn't illegal or anything but her handlers got mad the last four times she used her job to get men into her room. This one seemed a bit shy too, such a catch! He wasn't the type most went for but a cad-ette like her wasn't in much need of personality behind the meat normally.. though this would be good profiling practice maybe.

Cedric had been listening to the orientation as it went on after introducing himself to his newly found acquaintance. It seemed pretty straightforward in its content, and Cedric couldn't help but be slightly surprised. Normally when he went to events like this, the speeches made by the host, or in this case the headmaster, went on for quite some time. However, this was different, and yet he liked it. The headmaster began to point out many things that had been going on in the auditorium at the time. He even seemed to catch someone trying to abandon the orientation all together. "I guess this will be over sooner than I thought." Cedric began to think to himself.

With the headmaster wrapping up his speech, Cedric turned to look at the girl next to him. She hadn't introduced herself yet, so he was thinking about asking for her name. However, the vibe within the auditorium seemed to change almost drastically, as the professor with the eye-patch stomped forward before exclaiming to the students in the auditorium with volume in his voice. Cedric had been startled by the professor's action mainly because he didn't expect that whatsoever. The loudness of the voice made Cedric's head snap back to the podium. Hearing what the professor had to say caused Cedric to feel slightly guilty. After all, he did speak some during the beginning portion of the speech. Maybe Cedric did take the speech slightly for granted, as he expected it to be a general introduction to the school. At this point, it was too late for the students to fix things, so there was nothing that could be done.

The girl sitting next to Cedric didn't seem to take the change in volume easy as well, as it seemed to even startle her out of her seat.
Cedric had considered a lot of her actions to be caused by new student nerves, but he was beginning to think that maybe she was always like this.
The girl seemed to jump up from the ground instantly afterwards before turning back towards Cedric. She bowed down before apologizing for ignoring the boy, with strength in her voice that seemed unusual for her. Cedric wanted to respond, but he had been cut off by her next words where she finally introduced herself to him. However, her leaving with haste followed right after, and Cedric didn't get much of a chance to say anything.

"Hmm Fiona...she's rather peculiar isn't she. I wonder if I'll run into her again." Was all Cedric could think about before turning to see that most of the students were either grouping up, or exiting the auditorium. Orientation had ended, and it was time for Cedric to move on as well. "Right I should get my dorm situation straight before moving on with my day." The new student thought. It was finally time to start his school life.

Boroque stared at her. While slightly confused, this would give him a chance to clear his name. Although, he wasn't sure how much of an offense sneaking out of the auditorium was. Then why was he so nervous? He watched her closely, waiting for a chance to run off. No, she was a detective. Something like that wouldn't go unnoticed. Escaping did not appear to be an option. Convince her that he had a good reason? No, that didn't seem like a possibility either. Stay calm, don't look suspicious.

She took her new catch.. or friend rather to the dorm request offices to try and get him to agree to some dubious paperwork. It wasn't wrong as long as she was fair to him right? She'd smoothly take him over and go retrieve some request forms to have a set of dorm rooms reserved for a "detective team". It would of course technically just be neighboring rooms but one would be an office for work and study and the other would be an actual room. She couldn't just reserve two rooms for this on her own afterall. Once all was said and done she'd present some funny paperwork and an excuse to her new friend. Even if he refused it would be quite fun to watch him squirm a little when she said something like him being under surveillance. She'd just call him a thief or something, assassin or anything like that could cause the game to get out of control.
