Oh no. No no no. He turned on his good heel and marched hurriedly away from the door the recording was coming from. He wasn't sure when he'd developed this fear of doctors but he wasn't keen on getting over it in the middle of this haunted hive. Not like he'd really need to anyway, right?? Right? As soon as the recording was out of earshot, he slowed down and sighed. This was dumb.

9. You find a file with an incredibly high hospital bill and a scribble that looks like your name on it, yikes! Some spooks are too real.

Static frowned at the paper, having a bit of trouble reading it in the dark light. Then he looked closer, and the frown became more so. A bill?? For health care??? That was outrageous, what kind of culture would do that to their own people? Static crumpled up the piece of paper and threw it to the side.

5. A giant jawbreaker crashes down the stairs and rolls towards you! It curves into a nearby door at the last second, missing you!

Static's eyes buldged as a... a... a JAWBREAKER?!?! Crashed down somewhere up stairs, and proceeded to roll. Static could hear each thud as the... thing... hit each stair, crashing its way through to where Static stood. He was ready, ready to jump to the side, when the thing swerved. Static was left frozen in place, his plumpbiscuit beating like mad.

2. Up ahead sits a bubbling cauldron labeled 'candy' with horns and bones floating in it. If you lean in for a peek, a motorized hand reaches out of the cauldron at you!

Static saw the word candy and looked at it suspiciously. Sure, candy sounded great! Who didnt like candy? But there in lied the potential trap, right? Were he to just jump in and grab a piece, well, who knows what would happen! The blueblood poked a stick into the cauldron and jumped a little as a hand came out. Figures!

Finally! He made his way out of the hospital themed area and into.... a lighthouse? He supposed this was considerably less creepy. At least until he spotted the rope and string hanging up ahead. Upon closer inspection, the noose attached to it brought a chill through him. Okay. A little creepier than initially thought. Or maybe it was just the nerves from the last area affecting his judgment in this one.

Frendo hurriedly rushed out of the room where he had shattered several glass tubes with a look of shame smeared across his face. He then took a moment to pause outside the room in what appeared to be a small hallway leading a barely lit room, and it was during this moment that he heard the thumping. It was heavy and wooden sounding, and it was coming from behind him. The little orangeblood felt his pumpbiscuit speed up as the thumping grew in volume behind him; his body tensing for the inevitable scare, and a scared smile replaced the look of worry he had worn moments before. He had just dared to peek back at whatever was making its way towards him when a little voice cried out "Aaaah!" and a mysterious leafy, twiggy ghost like creature popped up beside him waving their arms.

His scream was part delighted fright and part nervous laughter as he jumped back a step from the leafcreature, before noticing the very troll-like hands peeking out from underneath their sheet, and their obviously pale partner in crime. His giggles grew less nervous and more hearty as he dramatically wiped his forehead and announced, "Gosh! Y'sure scared me fur a second der! Ya and yur lusus," kinda small for a guardian, but a good rule of thumb was always expect the unexpected! Or was it big things sometimes come in little packages? Either way, "got some good 'n' spooky vibes goin, what'n with dat der thumping and poppin up outta nowhere stuff!" Frendo grinned at his new spoopy friend and then motioned for them to follow him. He was revved up from that spooking they had pulled on him, and he was eager to see what this little room down the hall had to offer, "Come on! Let's gets real scared," he chirped, before slowing down as the statues littering the dimly lit room came into focus from their shadowy confines. Oh jeez, they sure didn't look happy, and, "I dun mean ta try ta creep ya out, but I'm pretty sure I saw uh troll jus like dat poor guy earlier," he motioned to a particularly terrified and terrifying troll statue crying for eternity in a corner near the door. He then paused for a moment, to let the scariness sink in, before the smile popped back onto his face(he didn't stay scared for long, it came with the lack of self-preservation) and he turned again to his new found friend and piped up, "Now, before we gets turned into statues or separated in da dark, m'names Frendo! An' yous?" he offered his hand to the mysterious sheet-troll, as if the middle of a haunted house was a perfect spot to have a casual, not frightening conversation.

As soon as Makkah emerged from the exit of the haunted hive, she was greeted by a huge cascade of confetti and colorful lights shining all around. The young highblood had been the first to escape and the Civisect Sirens were going all out to celebrate that fact!

"Congratulations-" Flydra smiled at the shorter girl, somehow managing to clap enthusiastically but quietly at the same time. She reached into the pocket of her bloody nurse costume and plucked a medal out of it. Bending down, she safety pinned it to the front of Makkah's shirt and shifted out of the way to let the other girls do the same.

"Welcome to the real party. Have a treat! You were very brave to make it all the way through." They offered her a small cauldron shaped mug to drink some kind of pistachio marshmallow dessert with gummi worms sprinkled on top.

9. A plate of little squishy rainbow snacks sits with a sign 'eat if you dare'. Underneath the table are an assortment of corpses with fruit for heads? If you eat the snack you discover a fruit liquid inside!

Static just looked at the snacks, just looked at them. He wasn't going to grab any, i mean who was running this place?! That crazy yellowblood and her tealblood weirdo. Yeahhhhh Static was gonna take a pass on this one.

10. There's a sea shell. You pick it up to listen to the ocean. It's a recording of one of the heiress's speeches. Not the ocean sounds you were expecting, but it's blood pusher thumper.

Static didnt know why he picked up the shell. Maybe it was cute, maybe he thought mahmud would like it. Or maybe, he secretly liked sea shells. The blueblood frowned, trying to stop his hand as it reached down and grabbed the item. He screamed internally as his hand put the thing up to his ear and heard the plump biscuit beat. Yeah, okay, he was done with that now.

How.... had he ended up in this hallway again!? It was as if the hive was specifically designed to put him in the most uncomfortable places possible. Once more, he shimmied his way through the hall, avoiding the sharp implements and blood bags as much as possible. Gross, gross, gross.

He jerked around, eyes widening with horror as the shadow of a person wielding a chainsaw showed at the end of the hallway and screams started up. Oh hell no! Panic clouding his thoughts, he turned to bolt down the hallway, ignoring the pain that started up in his left leg - the prosthetic wasn't really good for quick dashes.

The SHEshells were a personal favorite of Reisio's. Military trolls who purchase spooky artifacts were right up their alley, and they knew that Oisier would agree. It was time for the twins to take action. And conquer fears they didn't even know they had.

"I hope that this is going to be very spooky," remarked the blueblood. They nodded to their twin and took their first ~~~haunting~~~ step into the Horror Zone.

"12. Dance break! You enter a room to discover you're on a stage with a spotlight on you! A full party of dancing toys applaud and encourage you to dance! Those who refuse to dance are tossed into the punishment pit full of glitter before they can proceed."


Reisio and their twin entered one of the sections, their eye shooting around at all there was to see. So far so good. A toy store was not so scary, and many trolls had lusii similar to toys. Filled with odd articulation, stuffing, and so on. Just pretend they were regular fauna. Yes. As they stepped into another threshold, suddenly they found themself blinded by a spotlight. Fear initially set in, but soon a crowd of seemingly ... friendly? ... toys were giving them the courage to bust a move. Reisio couldn't help but laugh. They swayed and wiggled their arms, tilted a bit at the hips and then scooted their feet around on the floor. Dancing!

Terror Night was perhaps Oisier's favorite holiday. The SHEshells were coincidentally one of their favorite celebrity duos. There was no way they and Reisio were going to miss the opportunity to combine two of their favorite things. Such was practically their theme.

"Indeed. I trust the SHEshells will have thrown the very best of their showmanship into the production," Oisier agreed, holding Reisio's hand as they advanced into the enormous building.

The blinding light was startling, but any fear it may have generated was washed away by swinging music. Oisier blinked harshly and rubbed their good eye until they could make out the audience of dancing toys. Their jaunty robotic movements were... cute.

Reisio laughed outright and Oisier was soon to join them. If they were intended to dance, then dance they shall! True to form, Oisier mirrored Reisio's movements at the center of the crowd. For a moment they forgot they were in a haunted hive at all. Was this perhaps to cause future scares to strike deeper? Ingenious.


Eventually the twins managed to spin and bop their way through the crowd and out of the room. Oisier was both winded and excited from all the stimulation. "At this rate we will surely be crowned champions of all haunted premises," said Oisier between catching their breath and the stretch of their smile.

Feeling invigorated, the twins advanced down the hallway. The music and lights of the dance party faded behind them. The atmosphere was replaced with a considerably more sterile laboratory environment.

Oisier cautiously eyed the assorted bags of bloods. They carefully reconsidered their thoughts of sterility.

"I supposed this is... practical to have around. In case of injury from one of the other exhibits," they commented. Surely that was the only reason to have so many syringes lying around. Right?
