I made this ink-wash in my Art III class. I used oil to make it look older, and as you can see from the reference image, I added skewers to make it a scroll. The statement above is what is written in Japanese on the scroll. I wrote it in columns like normal Japanese is written, but I forgot Japanese is written form right to left.
