Her party group of all barbarians (besides her) traveled through the very harsh Brisch Mountains to find a rather large settlement including a castle. Seeing as all of them were almost dead, Matilda went and befriended the youngest heir of the castle. I'd say more but I'd run out of room. And yes I didn't care to do the castle part very well thank you very much. :P
