- No she would bite at last resort. She would rather run away or kick hairs at you before she bites you. You would have to really piss her off to do that. I have a cage with a lock she will not escape. I would not recommend a new world spider they kick off the articulating hairs. That means anything from North America, Mexico, or South America,
