One of the twelve roses I had received this Valentine's Day from a loved one.
I always like to take a few pictures of the flowers I get especially because they were blooming so well. Upon taking this picture the flash had gone off and I thought ruined it, but it actually turned out pretty amazing.
I realize that the middle of the rose is not in focus, and I really wish it was but if you look closely you can see the 'veins' of the rose on the side petals. - Date: 02/17/2009

- nice macro, but yeah, the middle of the nose is out of focus. 5/5, though.
