Freya was the first Chobit, she was like a child to Ichiro and Hibiya. But she begins to be unhappy and nothing can stop it, not even the creation of Elda. She had fallen in love with her creator and father, and because of this burden, she began to malfunction. She couldn't take the pain any longer, and self-terminates.But right before she does, Elda offered to take Freya's heart into her own so that she would not disappear completely, and so that her memories would be preserved.
