Gray Fox, Frank Jaeger; the most skilled agent of Foxhound. His loyalty to Big Boss is fanatical because he owes him his life 3x over. In Outer Heaven he feigned capture to lure Snake into Big Boss's trap. In Zanzibar Land, he fought Snake while secretly aiding him, fighting Snake with Metal Gear, then a fist fight in a tank bay lined with mines. In MGS he returns as the Cyborg Ninja.

- Alas, this one battle is the only time you see him outside some type of disguise. In MG he looked just like all the other hostages and up until this fight in MG2, you only see him in codec calls and in Metal Gear D.
