- Actually, Axean, before you go around trying to make other people look like fools, YOU should really get your mythology straight. Harpies ARE half bird, half woman. They have the wings, feet, and legs of a bird, and the torso and head of a woman. And Sirens, aren't even related to anything birdlike at all. Sirens are horrible sea monsters that live on rocky shoals in the ocean. They have beautiful voices in which they use entrance sailors and lure them to crashing their ships into the shoals
