Sent on yet another chase, she had followed the attacker into a barn. hiding behind a post, she shut the doors behind her, locking him in. [i]Gotcha...[/i] she thought, then heard him rustling around. Her gun was useless, they still hadn't fixed it yet so it still jammed. Looking around quickly, she heard him getting closer and closer. Seeing a pitchfork, she snatched it and pointed it at him.

Dude.
Write as I was reading that, I felt a
tickle on my sleave, so I pinched it and it
CRUNCHES.
Turns out it was a big, hairy
spider.
And I just finished killing another
spider with a drinking glass.
Moral of
story:
Don't read long stories when in a
spider-infested closet.
