- Description: Dendritic branches obscured the pumpkin sunset illuminating the autumnal quilt of fallen leaves. The world set ablaze in fiery color only to turn to frost; a phoenix pyre. He quickened his pace. Warm light washed from the windows of the mansion ahead. "Almost there!" As his fingers brushed the gate the sun vanished and with it the house. Only a patch of pumpkins lingered. He lifted a small one and grinned, determined. "We'll find it next October, when the sun sets in an autumn blaze."
