To be honest, I was bored and made this avi, but here's why the name is what it is. He was consumed by his power, which caused him to not notice someone striking at his eyes, therefore blinding him, which means he was blinded by his own power. However, he is also blind to fear, as he cannot see what he fights, and therefore fights blindly, unknowingly threatening his own life.
