O, it calls our name.
Its shrill cry summons us
To the dense forests,
To the beautiful valleys,
To the raging rivers,
To the plateaus, high and flat.
It dulcet tones call us
To the windy peaks,
To the silent depths,
To the darkest keeps,
To the mountains, washed in starlight.
We record our journeys
Written on faded pages,
Ever in the back of our minds,
Buried in the depths of our hearts,
Sewn on the fabric of our souls.
Adventure's cry
Will never go unheard.
Not by me.
Not by you.
