Each winter, a fairy, who looks as if she has been coated in a gentle layer of frost, stands in the plains and scatters the first frost, until snow falls and blankets the land, colouring it whites, light blues and purple hues. It is the winter fairy's job to make sure the winter season lasts through it's expected period, and so the winter fairy stands, scattering winter around for all.
