You see it there, a darker shadow stalking through the trees below. The creature is tall and lithe, with an unnerving, almost regal elegance. Moonlight catches and glitters on the golden leaves woven through its broad antlers and if you squint, you see the pale white glow of the eyes...a glow that leaves a trail of ghostlight behind it. A long, willowy tail lashes slowly back and forth in its wake, ears moving to and fro as it searches the dark for...something. No, not something.
