They say the moon was once a real person, sister to the sun, she was the watcher of the night. Night was the only time she could tread on the Earth's surface. But she grew weary of disappearing in the presence of her sister, for she had less time on Earth as her. The sisters feuded, half the world remained in the sun while the other was perpetually dimmed with night. Until their Creator ended the feud by permanently banishing the sisters to the sky.
