    Shino was one of the closer friend to Ovan. Most of the time when Ovan was away she would act as the Twilight Brigade leader. Ovan, very frequently missing, would entrust the Brigade to her because she was one of the few who was strong minded and could handle just about anything. 18, Shino is a very gentle and kind being who acts even more mature then her age. During .Hack//Roots, Shino and Ovan seemed to have more of a relationship then just guild members. Though they were very close, Haseo felt a close bond to Shino as well. What seemed to be falling in love, grew when Shino was targetted and erased from the system by a being known as Tri edge. <br />
    The person who was believed to be this Tri edge being was a creation in the system known as Azure Kite. Although her PC was erased from the system, no one could reach her outside 'The World' either for Shino was instantly diagnosed as comatosed. Shino was living alone when her landlord had found her unconcious on the floor. No one is aware of why she had suddenly gone into this mysterious coma, there for no one could treat her. But Shino turned out not to be the only one to suffer this fate. As the story continues more people PKed by Azure Kite or 'Tri Edge' were discovered unconcious as well. These players became known as the "lost ones". Though not much is known about Shino's life outside "The World", it is known that inside this girl and a boy named Haseo shared a deep relationship. Haseo, in Shino's last few moments, held her and cried, trying to save her. After watching her fade into the data stream, he swore revenge on Tri Edge who he was forced to believe was Azure Kite. <br />

    Time passed, and Haseo grew stronger like he promised. Now, known all over 'The World' he was known as "The Terror of Death". People feared him everywhere, PKKers hated him, but none this bothered Haseo because his goal was not them, his goal was to save Shino. Haseo finally got his fight with Azure Kite, but it did not go as planned. Haseo let out all his strength upon the unknown being, but still it was not enough. He was defeated, but instead of the fate the others were cursed with, Haseo merely dropped back down to level 1 in his PC.<br />

    Dissappointed, Haseo tried again to level up, his quest still not completed. Now, at the time Haseo was a very 'keep to himself' kind of person, but as his journey to save the one he loved continued, he met new people and opened up more. And he was no longer the terror of death everyone feared. No, he was a new person that most loved. Even his PC was different. No longer dark and mysterious, but light and open. His travels brought him acrossed a girl named Atoli. This girl's PC looked uncanny to Shino, and most of the time Haseo could not even look at her because of this fact. Atoli ended up falling in love with Haseo. And almost becoming a Lost One because of this, but in the end Haseo saved her along with many others. It was not enough for Atoli though, for Haseo still would not look at her. And that is all she wanted. <br />

    As Haseo began to find out the truth of 'The World', his heart sank more. His long time friend and guild member, Ovan, turned out to be the true one to erase and comatose Shino. Filled with hate and confusion, Haseo hunted Ovan. Ovan then explained why he had done this. His reasoning was sad but true. Ovan loved Shino, yes, but he knew Haseo loved her more and he needed Haseo to save his little sister, Aina, who he made a lost one when he was infected by AIDA. ( the virus that sent people into comatose ). So Ovan used Shino as if she was nothing, destroying her in order to get Haseo to become stronger for him. In the end, Ovan was destroyed and Aina was saved along with the other Lost ones. <br />

    Haseo immediatly rushed to Shino, who was awake and doing well. But when she came back onto "The World" and saw Atoli, she realized they had fallen in love and there for told Haseo that it was ok to follow his heart and go to her instead. Haseo knew this to be true also, he had felt closer to Atoli even though he found her slightly annoying. Though his heart was still loving Shino in some way, he fell for Atoli, keeping a strong friendship with Shino. Now they rome 'The World' alot together, almost as if they were in the Twilight Brigade again and nothing had happened. The only difference is that Ovan is missing, though traces of him still exsist in 'The World', no one knows where he is. Rumors come and rumors go, but as time passes, the seem to all be the same and then fade away completely. The only one now who completely remembers Ovan and his being, is his little sister Aina. It is also unknown to what had happened to her.<br />
