    Bunsen Burner, n. A device invented by Robert Bunsen (1811-1899) for brewing tea in the laboratory, thereby enabling the chemist to be poisoned without having to walk all the way to the company cafeteria.<br />
    <br />
    I'm a biochemist, an artist, and clearly, a walking contradiction.<br />
    I'm going to be a senior in college and I am currently working on a biochemistry major with minors in chemistry and visual arts.<br />
    I work in the chemistry laboratory at the university pretty much every day.<br />
    I suffer from postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome and severe costochondritis, which are motivating me to do research.<br />

    I draw and paint all the time. I'm sure if you could see me in person, you'd see that I always have a sketchbook and various pens and pencils with me.    <br />

    I love reading anything I can get my hands on.<br />
