• Artist Info: A little stray kitty with torn pieces of clothing, that resembled rags more than something you'd wear, was walking in the market, her stomach growling, her head aching and her eyes tearing up, when a seemingly nice man offered his help. She followed him silently, hoping all hell that she's been through had already been left behind. If only she had known...
The man fed her, gave her a small room with a big bed and a small bathroom. When the kitten finally had the courage to say "Thank you" the man told her, before she could let out a sound: "You should go and wash yourself. You can just throw away those rags in the trash"
The kitty did as she was told - that was the way it had always been with her previous owners. Somewhere inside her little heart she felt fear that if she didn't obey her new master, he might hurt her just like everyone before.
When the cat came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her frail body, the man was still there. He looked at her from head to toe and smiled in a way she didn't quite understand.
"You're a very beautiful kitten" - he said - "I'll take very good care of you so you will become even more beautiful" The cat smiled shyly - she had never been praised before. As the man stood up, she flinched a little.
"My, my" - he said as he walked towards her - "You're quite the scaredy-cat, aren't you? Perhaps you've had some bad experiences before? But there's no need to be afraid. I won't hurt you"
He then took the towel from her and once again looked at her body carefully. After what seemed like an eternity, he raised the cat's hands and put a green dress on her. He then took a few steps back and said: "I knew it would look good on you! Just look at those gorgeous eyes!"
The cat turned her head and looked in the mirror. The image was so unfamiliar that she wondered if there was another person standing in front of her. The man then walked up behind the kitten and put his hands on her shoulders. "Well?" - he asked - "Do you like it?"
The cat turned her head and exclaimed with more excitement than she thought could ever be felt: "It's amazing! Thank you so much, sir! I am very very grateful!" Hearing that the man laughed: "And here I thought you couldn't speak!" The kitty blushed a little and smiled. She had never been treated this nicely and was so grateful to the man that she didn't even know how to express those enormous feelings.
