• Artist Info: In my opinion, there's not much to say about me, which is less than you probably want to know if you're reading this 'about me' column... So I'll just be general and talk about what I look like, and something about my personality.

Here's what there is to know:

I've always been tall for my age, but as time goes on, I find myself seemingly shrinking, and will one day be crushed by my classmates (hopefully, this will not happen, but you never know. People have been known to step on me when I sit down).

I want to be a detective when I grow up. I watch so many detective shows that they start to make me want to be in them. Wouldn't it feel good to know you're helping people for your job every day? That only problem would be relying on death and pain for my job would be hard to accept, and it might feel like the only thing I'm after is money. But trust me, I'm not.

However tempting it may seem to be a detective, I find myself pulled down the path of costume design... I love to draw people and clothing, as well as physically making the costumes, which I do for anime conventions every so often. :3 The only problem is that those two fields are completely different, so in the end I'll have to choose one or the other.

For lack of a good segway to the next subject, I have brown eyes and blond hair; an odd and rare combination. However, I think I'm not different enough from everyone else... I've managed to find a twin, who, without being related to me in any way, people confuse for me frequently. I find it amazing that we also have the same birthday, being date, month, and year together. I'm just a patchwork quilt of people sewn together. But that's good in a way - I find people easy to relate to. I'm also good at consolation, so if you ever need someone to talk to, let me know!

The sentence before this one is something most people don't hear me say. In fact, they tend not to hear me. I am extremely quiet (at least, that's what I'm told) and pretty shy. It takes a while for me to get used to people, but once I do, I open up quite a bit.

I do not like it when people ask me why I am quiet, it happens too frequently, and there's really no reason for it, it's just who I am.

I am in two honors classes (I'm not taking history this year, I'm so sad ;A; ) - math and English. This can actually get in the way of my taking and passing state required exams, believe it or not, since I skipped a year in math but they tested us on all the stuff we missed anyway... Hmm I plan on continuing math every year of high school. Yayness.

Now for the part that people actually care about; my favourite things.
I like colour. That is a very obvious statement, since it's hard to find someone who doesn't. I am a bit different, though. Most people see black and grey as shades, not colours. I think (because I read this, and it was an interesting thought) that black is the most colourful and expressive of all! Think of it like this - - - black consists of all the colours put together, and is not the absence of colour that most people seem to view it as.

I love, love, LOVE anime and manga! It may seem dorky, but it really speaks to me, sometimes in more ways than regular books. You can see the characters and their expressions, while at the same time getting more out of it than a picture book, and it's almost like you know the characters if you get to know them well enough. My favourite mangas are Death Note, D. Grey-Man, Hetalia, Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji), Bleach, Tegami Bachi, and Uzumaki. Notice I DIDN'T say One Piece. Naruto is as far into bad manga as I'm willing to go, sorry to all you One Piece fans out there. If I have any free time, you can almost always find me working on costumes or out cosplaying somewhere.

For those of you wondering, I cosplay Mello from Death Note, Allen Walker from D. Grey-Man, Ciel from Black Butler, Romano from Hetalia, and many more! I'm currently working on Switzerland from Hetalia, and I have 13 wigs, if anyone wants to keep track.

On my deviantArt (as DeathNotesC) I have posted some drawings I did and a few (like one) cosplay of my brother and me as Mello and Near, but I'm thinking about posting more in the future *cough cough* once I have some.

I don't view myself as having many hobbies, or even things I'm good at, but I'm a blue belt in karate, about to test for purple, and I draw a lot (people tell me I draw very well, but I'll never be as good as by big brother). I used to play trombone, but I quit in 5th grade because of the director. I play some piano, but I can't read the sheet music, and I couldn't name a key to save my life! However, I'm looking forward to taking it next semester in school. The violin is a beautiful instrument, not to mention my favourite, and I hope to learn to play it as well.

I do not like it when people ask me how I drew something when they think it looks good. I moved my wrist. I practiced. And practiced, and practiced, and practiced. It's not like I have any tricks or anything...

Just saying.

I LOVE my family and would do anything for them! That includes my pets and the people I am honored to call my friends. I have recently lost all the rodents in my household. It is hard to forget them, and I don't think I ever will. And I don't want to. I live with my parents and two brothers. We have a dog, a cat, and a tank of fish... The fish never do anything, so I don't like them as much. I still care about them though.

I think it's sad when someone moves away that you really care about. Whether it's to a new city or across the country. I miss my friends terribly. When something like that happens, even if years pass, it feels like I'll never find someone like them again, and part of me doesn't want to. Friendship is lasting, no?

That being said, I will do ANYTHING for my friends. When I find someone I trust, I am incredibly loyal.

Fate? Yuck. I hate that word.

Fate is like our lives are written into a script, and it's our turn to play the part.

Well, that would stink, cause I can't act.

By the way, I do not appreciate spam posted on my site. I don't spam, but I will if you ignore my request, I will spam the heck out of you, so DON'T DO IT. I mean, forwards never work. They just clutter my page and take up space. Granted, they give you gold for posting, but can you just say hello or something? Psh, I know, I'm SO strict.

I guess that was a lot about me after all! Now I know it's bad for to say this at the end of an essay of whatever, but thank you if you took the time to read this unfairly long information box. It was probably more than you wanted to know. Luckily for you, I tried to organize it by paragraphs, so it's kind of like the Dewy Decimal System. Kinda.

Thank you again! Now that you've read about me, I'd love to hear about you! Send me a message, or even a random friend request! Those make everyone feel special :]
