    Simple directions you gave me to your heart.<br />
    Go straight then stop.<br />
    But wait, I have a detour.<br />
    You gave me the directions,<br />
    But you didn’t tell me<br />
    What was along the way.<br />
    Can’t go around it.<br />
    Nor can I go away from it.<br />
    I have to take that bumpy road.<br />
    Hopefully, the road won’t break<br />
    When I get close to the end.<br />
    I guess the road could lead me in circles.<br />
    But eventually I will be back on the road.<br />
    But if the road breaks completely, then I have failed<br />
    To get to your heart.
