I got my A.A in Business Technology and I am working on my A.A in Native Studies.<br />

I have a wonderful boyfriend, and a beautiful little chihuahua.<br />

I work on Thinning Units for Tribal Forestry.<br />

I like to do all kinds of Native American arts. I do a lot of beading. I learned how to do quill work. I make dream catchers, medicine bags, moccasins and beaded jewelry (ie: Necklaces, bracelets, earrings, medallions, barrettes, pins, hair pins, key chains, roach clips, and so on.)<br />

I am highly cultural and somewhat knowledgeable about Native American history, not just my own tribe's, but other tribes' as well. In my degree I learn about history before white colonization, during, and after. I am learning how to speak my tribes language, which is a dying language. I wish more young people would learn their culture, because sadly, thats why it is dying. My tribes dialect is Spokane Salish, which differ from other forms of Salish such as Colville, Kalispel, and CDA. They are very similar yet very different in they way they sound.
