• I plop my bag and trumpet down next to the steps where we hang out and sit down on them. I yawn and complain to myself that it was school again. All my friends where there, having their own wacky conversations amongst themselves. So I decide to wander, I have time.

I Start to walk in a spiral form and when I get to the very center, I come to a set of stairs. Of course there really isn't a set of stairs in the middle of the pick-up at my school but it was a dream so it was logical. No-one seems to notice me nor the stairs so I walk down them. I walk for days it seems, into a jungle. The stairs are now a hill and it's completely dark. Just when i decided to turn around and go back, I see that the floor, has now started to take the shape of stairs once more! I start to run.

Now, out of the jungle, I come to a long dusty road. To my right there is a fence and a lot of bushes, and to my left there is a corn field. I walk, and walk. I walk for what seems like days. Then I come upon a farmer leaning on his shovel and chewing on some straw.
"Excuse me" I ask, "Do you have anything to eat?" By now I was quite hungry.
"Nope, Just me and my corn." He said, " But, there are some bananas up there" He pointed to a tree on the other side of the road. "But those are his bananas, and that is his tree house."
    "Who is he?"
"The giant of course!! And you wouldn't want to be caught be him."
"oh." I started to turn to go back. When one of the bushes moved a bit and out jumped a monkey. They monkey jumped around me and pointed at he bananas. It 'told' me (more like the fact was put in my head) that the giant stole that banana tree from the monkeys and now they are all hungry.

I couldn't just leave them there to starve. So I went over to the tree and positioned the convenient ladder so that I could safely reach the bananas. I climbed up and grabbed about three bunches of bananas when I felt a shake.
"Thant would be the giant. H e can tell when someone is taking his bananas."
I jump down and hide behind the bush that the monkey came out of. The monkey also hid with me. I watched as the giant came towering down the path. He walked up and looked at the tree.
"Who was eating from my tree?" he growled at the farmer.
"No-one, just the monkeys." He chewed on his straw some more. I silently thanked him for keeping it quiet about me.
"Damn monkeys" the Giant cursed, and stormed off into the distanced form where he came.
"It's okay to come out now" The farmer told me. "That was a close call. But now you better go home before he comes back."
I thanked him again and petted the monkeys and ran back into the jungle. I made my way though and up the stairs out onto the school pick-up. It was still before school, and everyone was still in there conversations with each other. The bell rings for us to go inside. I go grab my stuff and go to my locker then to class.

It's AP Prep U.S. History and I'm in the seat second from the front. Ms. Nogan is all excited and happy for me for some reason.
"Class! Today is very special. Please get out your textbooks and turn to page 256!* It's special because this was done by our very own Rachel Knom!!" She clapped. " Okay! Well when Rachel had gone down the stairs and into the jungle and then onto the dirt path, she found a banana tree and because she ate some she had to hoard of a vicious pack of monkeys that claimed the banana tree and-"
"Excuse me" I cut her off. "That's not what happened." I went on to explain the real story of me adventure. Then my dad came to take me home and I woke up!
