• Annie and the book of mages

    The Beginning Of The Journey

Once upon a time in Grove Town, there was 14 year old girl named Annie and this girl was very poor and her mother was furious that they barely had enough to eat. Annie was always thinking of ways to make her mom much happier but they sadly never worked. Then one day Annie heard of rumors of a sacred book called the book of fate and it was said to have magical powers beyond comprehension. Annie thought that this was impossible and she wanted to ask the butcher because he seemed to know everything about the town. As Annie approached him she bumped into a strange man, his name was Salaazar a shifty eyed serpent looking man in a cloak,

Annie said watch were your going next time
And Salazaar said nothing as he disappeared into a dark alley.
Annie asked the butcher who that man was and the butcher says “you best be stayin’ away from that man no one knows who or what he is, many say that he came straight from the underworld itself but I don’t believe it but be careful” Annie didn’t listen to his warning she went off chasing after Salaazar. Annie came to a dead end and turned around on her way back she found Salazaar and he said in a hissing raspy voice
I know that you are poor I can make you happy I know where the book of fate is. Annie said the butcher said not to listen to you, and Salaazar replied just so that he can take the book instead of you, Annie believed him she did not know that he was using her because he wasn’t pure enough to take it from its resting place and unable to see through his deception she followed. As she followed they went into a deep catacomb in which the book of fate was on its pedestal as she lifted it of its pedestal Salazaar snatched it away and said thank you for your help and you will not be of any assistance anymore as the ground began to shake the stalactites started to fall Annie panicked as a large stone hit her in the head and knocked her down, slowly drifting into unconsciousness she watched as Salazaar cackled my kingdom shall rise from the underworld once more thanks to you as he escaped she fell unconscious and was left in the cave. Annie woke up a few days later in not the town but a secret society called the Brotherhood Of Fate as she awakened she was in a temple and one of the temple guardians said she has awakened and then a guardian approached her very quickly as if she were a threat yet he just said that he was there to help and he tended to her wounds and asked if she had seen a man named Salazaar and Annie said yes and that he had stolen the book of fate. They suddenly broke into a conference on how to get it back. Find out what happens next in Annie and the book of fate. One of the temple guardians said with a serious voice “do you have any idea what you’ve done” and Annie said that she was tricked by Salazaar, but the temple guardian didn’t listen he simply walked away. The Brotherhood Of Fate charged Annie with treachery against the human race and Annie said “I didn’t know sir I was being foolish” they believed her and gave her judgment. Annie couldn’t believe what her punishment was the temple guardians said that since she helped Salazaar she had to help them to get it back she had to become a warrior and fight through armies of undead to get to the secret location of a special sword called “The Sword Of Bazaar” this sword was known to have conquered even the most powerful undead and countless amounts of serpents and beasts. Annie had no idea what was to come in her future, but she knew what she had to do. Annie wanted to see her mom again before she left for battle but there was no time and Annie cried as she was getting ready for the conference. As she was getting ready she saw an archer that looked about the same age as her and asked if he could help her get to the sword instead of her going by herself. The archers name was “Griffon” he was the youngest archer she had ever seen and had legendary talent with the bow and arrow .She went into the conference the leader was a strong looking man with scars all over his face. His name was “Artix” he was a heroe in many of the stories that Annie’s mom told her when she was a child. Annie saw him as a big inspiration but he saw her as a great threat to their mission. Artix said that they had a long journey ahead of them and showed them a map and he said they had to go through the only sliver of land connecting them to the cave in which the sword was located the sidewinder, it is called the sidewinder because the roads are tricky and winding like a serpent. Artix explained how they were to be organized on their journey.
