• She limped, slowly, towards them. Her legs still ached from being twisted and wrapped in distorted ways, her arms still a bit numb. But none of this pain compared to the surprise that swept through her when she saw them run.

Like cowards, she wanted to spit at them, curse at them, run at them and scream. They were her only chance and they ran like children. "Come back, wait!" she yelled with haste, as they began to turn. Her lungs burned again, she was losing breath quickly. Her throat burned, too.

Delilah ran. She ran with all her might, not even close to matching the speed of those mysterious figures, and frowned upon her self when she stopped and fell limp on the ground crying. The tears stained her face with ugly red smears and made her skin tingle. "Why, why, why..." sobbed she, it seemed to be no use that she in fact had been completely forgotten. Just like before. Just like the rest of her life. She couldn't let that happen to her again.

Her legs were forced upright with the rest of her as she sprinted forward, eyes shut in the wind, tears flung out from her cheeks. Such power she felt, her body going as hard as it could, ubruptly stopped. As she slowly fell into the black void encasing her, she saw a blurry tunnel and the rock that she ran into stained in red. It dripped, it was warm on her cool skin, her head ached. She was covered in puddles of blood, she was such a clumsy idiot. Now she would never find them.
