• It had been weeks now since Aqua had left her family. She had grown used to the castle and her many friends. She was much liked because she was always nice to everyone. Other girl Vampires helped voluntarilly to put up her hair. Once Aqua had commented on a coat one of them wore. Aqua now never took it off except at night to let the moons light touch her arms.

It was one of these night when the full moon was out that Demon came into her room. Aqua was shocked to find someone had disturbed her at this time. Everyone knew not to disturb the Princess on the night of the full moon esspecially Demon who visited her every day.
"Princess our Lord, your father, would like to see you." Aqua nodded and stood up. She left her cloak behind. As they came into the Grand Hall Aqua saw why her father wanted her but it was one of two reasons. A young girl around Aquas age stood quiet and afraid between the two vampires with black hair that had brung her here. Aqua stared at her while walking to the stairs.

    "Yes Father?" Aqua asked.
"Come, join me up here child." Aqua did as instructed.
"You are my eldest daughter so I give you this necklace." Two white hands extended from the dark veil and tied and blue choker necklace around Aquas neck. Hanging from it was a tooth of some kind.
"That is a dragon's tooth it signal's strength and determination. Now on a different matter. The girl down there her name is Paitence. I sense something valuable in her. Do you?" Aqua turned and looked at the girl named Paitence. She had long, straight black hair, her skin slightly tanned, her brown eyes stared up at Aqua with fear.
"I sense a temper but I also sense something else. Something deeply hidden." Aqua sighed as her efforts to uncover the hidden factor failed.
"I do to my child. Hm lets see yes she has a very large temper. But she is loyal, extremely loyal. That is what's hidden." Aqua nodded and looked back at Paitence.
"Is that good father?" Aqua asked.
"Yes." That was all Aqua needed to here. Aqua started down the stairs a small smile on her face.

The fear in Paitences eyes dimmed slightly as Aqua reached her. Aquas kind atmosphere had taken it toll on Paitence as well.
"Come with me." Was all Aqua said. Paitence followed her quickly up the stairs.
"Father." Aqua said to the dark veil. The look os confusement on Paitences face said that Paitence had been to scared to notice the outline of the figure. Aqua stepped off to the side.
"Aqua our guest is to frightened to talk to me right now." Aqua nodded and stepped back to Paitence. It seemed when Aqua's father spoke to her only Aqua could hear it. Only Aqua knew right now about the kindess in the Lords heart.

"Do not be afraid Paitence. If you are allowed to come up the stairs you have an ability that can not be surpassed. For you it your loyalty for me it is my kindess and determination." Aqua said pointing to her necklace.
"A dragons tooth means strength and determination. If you are brave enough to step into the dark veil you will be both my sister and the youngest princess. You must be brave or turn out worse." Aqua said the last part kindly but with a stern voice before stepping back to the side. Paitence stood for a moment outside of the dark veil. She turned around and looked at the bottom the stairs. Where she could get away pretend nothing had ever happened. But something made her turn around again. Something made Paitence step into the dark veil. And as the scream went through the air Aqua did not even flinch.

A moment later Paitence stepped back out. She looked slightly dazed but no longer fearful. Aqua smilied.
"Yu are now a princess Paitence." Aqua said smiling, Paitence smilied back.
"Aqua." Her fathers voice made her jump and she turned to him. Out of the dark veil protuded one white hand holding a blue necklace. Aqua slipped around Paitences neck noting its now pale colour. The ornament on it Aqua thought really suited her and as she tied it around Paitences neck she explained what it meant.
"A black heart, extreme loyalty and... a very big temper." Aqua said grinning. Paitence grinned to.

    Aqua turned to the stairs.
"Come I'll show you our rooms." Aqua said smiling as she and Paitence walked off. The two soon became the best of friends as well as really close sisters. The two were very different though. And many of the girl Vampires who dressed up their hair always said thats what made them such good friends. But these Princesses had no idea what would happen in the years to come.
