• _FOR_VAMPIRES:
I awoke to bright trails of light that somehow managed to find their way into my room while I slept. "Uggg..." i groaned as i flicked my blakets off my body. I opened my curtians to reveal a bright and sunny day. 'WTF?' i ask myself. It was winter for KoRn's sake. I got dressed, straightened my hair, and clomped downstairs for breakfast. "Mom? Dad?" I called. I realized they were both at work. I shruged and raided the refrigerator. Nothing. I sighed and popped the top of a Pepsi and lugged my tried body to the phone. I calld J-soma. "Hey, what are you doing?" I asked her, sipping my soda. She replyed softly, "Ari, shut up and hide! What are you, stupid?" My jaw dropped. My best friend had never spoken to me like that before (well, not when she was serious anyway). "What do you mean?" I hiss, annoyed. "Ari... I know you don't believe they exist, but vampires are here!" she whispered to me. I tried, but my maniac laugh exploded from my lips. "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" I laugh uncontrolubly into the phone. "That is the stupidest thing you've yet to say!" I yelled, holding my paining side. J-soma reacted softly,"Shhh... Ari, shut-" Suddenly a spurting sound filled the other end of the line. I stopped laughing. "J-soma?" I asked. A crash sounded as her phone fell to the ground. "J-soma?!" I yelled, realizing it wasn't a joke. After a disturbing slurpping sound, an odd laugh rang out. The phone line rustled on her end and a strange male voice sounded, "Your friend is no longer with us. Now why dont' you tell me your name?" I gasped and hung up.
My hands shook as I dropped the phone.
'Vampires are taking over the world, and they can walk in sunlight. And the last thing I said to my friend was "that is the stupidest thing you've yet to say"' I think as I rush into the living room.
Okay, It may be the end of the world, but that doesn't mean I have to be stupid and loose my head. I'm just about to die, but It's okay...
Who knew I would be this sarcastic at the end of the world? I paced around the room nervously, frantic to not be alone. "What do I do now?" I asked myself. 'Hide in the attic?' I thought. No. If vampires could smell blood, it wouldn't matter where I hid. I suddenly reilized what I had to do. Befriend a vampire. Could it be done? The story "Dracula" made me kind of nervous about the whole thing. But "Twilight" begged to differ. I groaned and my pace quickened. I grabbed the phone and called AO-chan. "Ao?" I asked. The line was dead. "D@MN IT!!!" I yelled throwing the phone against the wall. "Ari, you always were a bit violent." a female voice purred from behind me. I whirrled around, and gasped. Ao-chan stood their, a former shell of herself, pale and cold. "You... you wouldn't hurt me, would you?" I asked her. She smile and laughed. "No silly! I may be a monser, but I still remember who I am." she replyed. I walked hesitantly toward her, as she studied me. "So why are you here? To protect me?" I aske hopefully. She laughed, "No, I'm here to invite you to dinner and do the cancan. YES, I'm here to protect you!"
"Ahaha. Charming as ever." I counter, smiling. She laughs lightheartedly, then got serious. "So, down to buisness. I doubt we could hide you from them. They say some want you as a snack, but most of us want you to be one of us." My whole world was going dark. "So basically I die or be living for eturnity?" I ask, leaning against the wall. Ao nodded. "You will not be having a chice in this matter." a male voice called as my front door slamed. "Conner." Ao snarled at the male vampire.
