• "No, no, no!!!" she shrieked as the tears ran down her face. "WHY??" she yelled. "Why are you leaving me?!?!?" It was a horrible sight in front of me...my girlfriend...the only girl I have ever truly loved...was on the floor...crying..."Please! Please don't leave me!" she cried for the fourth time that night. It wasn't that I wanted to leave, it was that I had to move out of state. My dad had found a new job in California, and because I was only fifteen...I had to go with him. She crawled across the floor and screamed "No! I love you! I can't lose you!" I got down on the floor with her and wrapped my arms around her. "Go ahead..." I said, rubbing her back. "Let it all out baby...it'll be okay..." She buried her head into my shoulder and cried. I could feel the wet spot of her tears on my T shirt growing but I didn't care...all I cared about was her. As long as she was ok, I was happy. When her yelling and screaming gradually died down to a soft sob, I whispered into her ear, "I love you...and I will always love you. No matter where I am." She looked up at me. Her usually smiling, glowing face was covered in tears and despair. "I love you too..."she said softly. She tried to smile but couldn't because of all the sadness that had gathered up inside of her. Then, I leaned in and kissed her. Her lips were moist because she had cried so much that night. She kissed me back and took my hand while trying to keep the kiss alive. I put my other hand on the back of her neck and lightly pushed her more into the kiss. We reluctantly pulled away and looked deep into eachother's eyes. To break the silence, I said, "I promise you...one day, we will be together...and no one...will stop us." I pulled back my hand and a look of surprise came on to her face. She opened her hand, and in her hand...was a key attached to a necklace. "It's...the key to your heart..." she stammered. "It's always belonged to you" I replied. I took the necklace and put it around her neck as she fell asleep in my arms.
