• "Captain! Captain Kurosaki!" Yelled Kiyoshi as he ran around squad 3. Several heads turned, but none responded to the name.
A man in a white haori turned his head a few inches in the direction of where the racket was coming from, but made no move to go over to it. He knew it was heading this way.
"Captain?! Where are you! You know you can't hide forever!" The middle aged man winced as he knew it was true. He was Kiyoshi's captain, afterall...
He looked around the dark space. He was a captain for goodness sake. He'd defended people from vasto lorde! But now here he was, scared of facing his own lieutenant...
The doors to the cupboard flung open and Isshin fell face first out of the hiding place, landing at Kiyoshi's feet.
    "found you..." he said smugly.
A heavy sigh escaped Isshin's lips before he grinned and looked up to the navy haired boy. "Now it's your turn to hide and my turn to seek!" Kiyoshi looked down to his Captain and crossed his arms. He would've tapped his foot, but he reminded himself that the layabout man on the floor was his superior, even if he didn't act like one.
    "Later. We need to talk."
Isshin had been scared for this very reason. This is what had driven him - the captain of squad 3 - into hiding.
It obviously showed on his face because Kiyoshi's expression softened. "Don't worry captain - I know it wasn't your fault."
Isshin looked away before standing up. He stood squarely infront of his subordinate, rising a few inches taller. Kiyoshi blinked when his captain rested a hand on each of his shoulders, looking down to the floor inbetween each of their bodies. He tried to look to his captain's face, but his head was bowed too low.
Snifling. Kiyoshi swore he heard muffled crying coming from somewhere close-by and as he went to look around for the source, a single tear fell into the gap between Kiyoshi and his captain.
    "I couldn't stop them... "
