• Daisuke sat on a bench on the curb of his street waiting for the bus to come. He had spiked white hair that went down to his shoulders and blue eyes. He wore a black hoody with a skull on it, black baggy pants, and a skull necklace. He fiddled with his cell phone going through random files deleting them. He stared at his watch and then sighed as he saw that he still had to wait another fifteen minutes. He looked up as he saw the people passing by.
    "Hey Daisuke!"
Daisuke turned his head to see Kota running towards him. Kota had long black hair, green eyes, and wore clothes that were suited for summer. Kota had been a childhood friend of Daisuke. Kota walked past him and sat on the bench, but a little further from him.
    "Where you heading to?"
"I'm going to Shibuya. I got a call from Sakura to meet her there. Something about a big clothing sell."
Kota stared at him with one eyebrow raised. "And your going. Didn't know you swung that way"
"Shut up Kota. She said that she had something to give if i met her there."
"Should've known," said Kota. "You never pass up a chance to get something for free do you?"
"I guess so. So why are you here?"
"Same reason basically. Sakura called me too, but she didn't promise me anything."
"So i guess we both got dragged into this, huh?"
"Sure does look that way," said Kota. "Hey, how long do we have to wait."
Daisuke glanced at his watch. "It should be coming any minute now."
The bus turned the corner and parked in front of them. Kota was the first one to get on. As Daisuke stepped onto the first step he got the feeling that someone was watching him. He turned his head and there right next to him was a man in a black hood staring at him.
    "The hell you looking at?"
The man spoke in a deep tone. "Are you prepared?"
Daisuke stared at him. "Prepared for what?"
"Hey Daisuke," exclaimed Kota. "who are you talking to?"
Daisuke looked at Kota and then back at where the men stood. There was no one to be seen. Daisuke stood there a moment longer and then went onto the bus and sat in the seat across from Kota.
    "Didn't you see him?"
    "See you," asked Kota.
"The man in the hood that was standing right next to me."
"There wasn't anyone there. You were just talking to yourself."
Daisuke looked out the window and stared at the spot where the man was. "But there was someone there....wasn't there?"

Daisuke and Kota walked through the immense crowd of Shibuya. The streets were flooded with people, stores and fast food resturants were everywhere you looked. Thoughts of the man in the hood ran through Daisuke's mind.
"Hey Daisuke," said Kota. "Your not still thinking about that man in the hood you claimed you saw, are you?
"Are you sure you didn't see him," asked Daisuke. "He was so real. I know he was real."
    "Then what did he say?"
Daisuke paused for a moment and then continued to walk. "He asked me if i was prepared."
    "Prepared for what?"
"I have no idea, but that man was-"
    "Hey look, there's Sakura!"
Kota ran off towards Sakura yelling and waaving his arms.
    Daisuke then sighed, "Idiot."
"Are you prepared," came a strange, but familar voice.
Daisuke whirled around and saw the man in the hood standing a few feet away from him. "Who the hell are you?"
    "Are you prepared?"
    "Prepared for what?!"
"For the war of the reapers," said the man.
"The war....of the reapers? Who are you?"
"An ally, an enemy, or a friend, that will be for you to decide." The man then turned his head as if he had heard something. "I must take my leave. Here is a parting gift."
The man threw something and Daisuke caught it in one swift motion. He opened his hand to see a strange necklace. The pendent was the shape of a scythe.
    "What is this for?"
Daisuke looked up to see that the man was gone. He began to walk away but stopped to look back to where the man was.
    "Who is he?"
Daisuke approaced Kota and Sakura at a slow pace. Sakura's eyes weree a soft blue color and her long black hair was flowing in the wind. She wore a black tanktop with shorts that didn't go past her knees. When he reached them she had a large smile on her face and Kota rolled his eyes.
"It's about time," she exclaimed. "I thought you two flaked on me."
Kota wrapped his arm around her. "C'mon, Sakura. You know we would never do that."
She slipped free from his grip. "Stop it Kota. You know i hate it when you do that." She paused as her eyes went to the necklace that Daisuke held in his hand. "Cool necklace. Where'd you get it from?"
Daisuke looked up and began to ponder whether or not she would believe him. "A man in a hood gave it to me."
Kota sighed, "Not this crap again."
"He said it was a parting gift," said Daisuke ignoring Kota's comment. "He also said something about the war of the reapers."
"War of the reapers," repeated Kota.
He and Sakura stared at Daisuked and then started to laugh. Daisuke glared, but he knew he couldn't blame them.
"War of the Reapers," said Kota. "That's a good one Daisuke. Well, anyway that's a pretty tight necklace."
"Whatever," replied Daisuke shoving it into his pocket.
Sakura ran to Daisuke and held tightly onto his arm. "Well come on we should be heading over to the sell."
Daisuke sighed, "What about my present?"
She giggled, "You'll get it when we're done shopping."
"You mean, when your done shopping," said Kota.
They all nodded their head and started down the street towards the sale.
