    Dear Journal,

Yesterday me and Mel ran into some trouble. The zombies went back for a second run at the hotel. We fought our way through the croud to get to the car. Luckily Mel knew how to handle a gun. She's pretty good for a 10 year old. Anyways, we got to the car and continued our journey.
Our next stop was California. We're in California now, but we're not going any where else. This is our last and final stop. Yes, we finally made it. This is our destination. We're at a camp, but not a survivor camp. This is mine, Melony's, and Roxy's last trip. Ever. These are my fanal words before I cross over into the next life. If you're curious me and Mel made our own camp in the middle of a zombie feeding ground. We can't run, and we can't hide. We have no more ammo. My last words are: Why does man kind have to suffer? Why would God let this happen? My guess is because most of man kind has given up on life. I never gave up but yet here I am. Ready to die. Ready to face God.

    Sincerly,
    Elizabeth Green

Elizabeth Green, Melony, and Roxane were eventuly found. Elizabeth shot her self with they're final bulllet. An hour later the army came in and rescued Melony and Roxane. Melony still lives in the safety of the military camp with Roxane today. Elizabeth said she never gave up, but she did. I am Melony and I have shared with you the journal of Elizabeth Green. She was a brave girl and she never gave in untill she was pushed to her last limit. I only knew her for a short time but she was like a sister to me. I hope that you will never give up like Elizabeth did.

    Sincerly,
    Melony Smith
