I sat in the cool darkness of the local park. I was leaning against an old tree’s trunk. The leaves were all different colors and had started falling to the ground.
A calm breeze blew some leaves around me and one landed on my pale arm. I picked it up and let it go in the wind.
I was waiting for my dinner to arrive. Waiting could take all night, but that was okay with me. It’s not like I needed to sleep tonight, or ever.
I ran my fingers through my long black hair and sighed. Nights like this were the best for waiting. It wasn’t too hot or too cold and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Perfect, for them.
My eyes scanned the park and I noticed something. A child around fifteen was walking down the park’s path alone. I stood and smiled. My meal was finally here. I was beginning to feel very hungry. I could hardly stop myself from running all out towards him.
“Good evening child.” I said in my sweet musical voice.
He turned around and his jaw dropped “You can’t be much older than me.”
I smiled widely showing my white fangs and my eyes went from brown to crimson, the sign that I wanted blood.
“I am nearly one hundred and twenty years older than you, pathetic human.” I replied getting closer to my meal, about an inch away from him.
He took a step back with genuine fear in his eyes and I stepped with him putting my hand behind his neck. I laughed lightly. He was shaking really badly, he was amusing me.
I lowered my head and bit into his neck. Warm blood ran down his neck as I drank deeply. The scent of his blood was the most wonderful thing I had smelled all month.
When there wasn’t a drop of blood left in his body, I threw it down to the ground and stepped over it. As I walked I wiped some blood off my face and licked it off my fingers.
With my hunger satisfied I ran into the forest for one more sleepless night.

- Pretty creepy but a really good description, well for my standards anyway.
