• "So Casey, why are you here?" Dr. Reed Carter asked the young woman. The young girl had purple hair, it fell in layers to about her ear. Her body language showed how obvious it was that she didn't want to be there. She leaned into the back of the large couch her right leg over her left, bouncing up and down. Her arms were folded across her chest, while she stared out the window.
" Cut the crap Doc, you know exactly why I'm here," she shot at the old man. He grabbed the clipboard from the table and snatched the ink pen from the front pocket in his shirt. Pushing up his glasses, he coughed a little.
" Alright, how about you tell me, what you think about your parents making you come?" leaning back in his chair he glanced at Casey, over the rim of his glasses.
" It's irritating, obviously, stupid. My parents have no faith in their only child. Their stupidity is mind blowing. They think I do drugs and hang out with the wrong crowd. Just because of the way I dress," uncrossing her legs she leaned forward, resting her elbows on her thighs. Staring at Doc over her own glasses, which where stylishly thick black glasses, her hair swept into her eyes.
" Well Doc, how can you help a poor eighteen year-old girl. Who just doesn't talk to her parents, because they're complete morons. Of course there's nothing you can say to them about that. I've tried and even if you could. They wouldn't listen to you, they say that I'm foolish and just acting like any other teenager," Casey leaned back against the couch again, crossing her ankles.
"So why do you feel that your parents are 'morons' as you put it," the Doctor asked, as he started to doodle on his clipboard, a nice little bunny, with an eye patch and peg leg. Awesome pirate bunnies.
" They are, its just not my feelings, it's the truth. If you had to spend an hour with them you would understand. Instead you insist listening to me talk," Casey swung her head so she was once again looking out the window, rain dripped down the glass panel.
The doctor knew this wasn't going anywhere, so he added a landscape to his drawing as they sat in silence. The pirate bunnies were on a large ship in the middle of the sea before he decided to speak again.
" You do realize that didn't answer my question?" he asked half heartily, he added a few more pirate bunnies to his clipboard. They had taken control of the pirate cats' ship. He got so into drawing that he didn't even notice Casey's snooty remark, " HAHAHA! TAKE THAT STUPID PIRATE CATS!"
"Uh.. yeah I think I'll get going now," Casey stood from the overly stuffed couch and slung her gray side bag over her left shoulder, " Later Doc, I'll be seeing you next week I'm sure, peace." With that she turned on the heels of her large, black, hunting, boots. She flicked her wrist indicating that she was definitely leaving. Doc stared at her as she left, then turned back to his drawing and made one pirate cat walk the plank, laughing silently to himself.
