• The night was long and boring. The day was just the same. Nothing eventful had happened to Raquel in several years and she was bored with her life. Restlessly, she rounded the next corner, hearing the honk of a car that almost hit her as she turned. She'd not been paying attention to anything lately.
Raquel hit the gas, her engine of her silver Ramair V6 mumbling quietly. The car sped up gradually on the interstate, starting off at 50, then getting faster onto 60 and 70, then staying steady at 85. Sighing, Raquel closed her eyes for a brief moment, taking in the scenery of the setting sun in front of her. The land around her was flat, so the sun could be seen easily.
    Then it happened.
Out of nowhere, a semi crossed into her lane. She swore angrily, slamming on her break. In her rear-view mirror, two semis enclosed around her. Grumbling, she turned up her radio, not looking at the vehicle in front of her. Once she eased up on her break, she felt a jolt from the back of her car. The semi behind her had just hit her, sending her crashing into the one in front of her.
At that time, Raquel lost control of the car, sending her rolling into the nearby ditch. She couldn't tell how many times her car had rolled, but when it stopped, she was upside down. Disoriented, she coughed, trying to unbuckle her seat belt. When she failed at that, the faint smell of gas filled her nostrils. She panicked, pushing and shoving to try and force herself out of the car.
    She heard a faint hiss.
    There was a low rumble.
The car ignited, fire was all around. She screamed, no one heard her. The car blew up.
