• Chapter 7.

There is nothing worse than having your brother, and best guy friend interrupting your alone time every five minutes to make sure that you’re okay. Eating a brownie was next to impossible to do. Jacob watched to make sure I didn’t choke, and Stephen was running back and forth checking if I needed anything. Or if I needed help with the homework that Jacob brought home, and the forms that the council had made Jacob take home for me to fill out. Yes, nothing that I have happened all day was worse than this. Okay the fainting was the worst part. But this could diffidently be considered the second worse thing that happened today.
Through out the two and a half hours my life felt like it would never be calm again. It was only too long when the front door opened and from the other side of the threshold my parents emerged. Thank God for them, I don’t know what would happen to Jacob and Stephen if they hadn’t come home when they did. Okay I do know what I would probably do. I would probably commit a double murder. But none the less mom and dad came into the house, and saved Stephen and Jacob from a close brush with death.
They had no clue what happened at school. Well they didn’t, until the two big mouths said something after mom and dad walked in the kitchen. The worst part is that all four of them got in a big discussion about; who’s going to watch Alex before school? Who’s going to watch Alex during and after school? Ya da, ya da. They don’t think that I can fend for myself anymore just because I fainted? But I am grateful that was all they were discussing. If Stephen had mentioned my dream, mom and dad would have freaked out fully, and called for me to have an appointment with a therapist. If being a werewolf wouldn’t be enough, I would be a werewolf in therapy.
At supper none of them would even let me get off the couch. They told me that I had to work on getting my strength back. Hello! I fainted, it’s not like I went through a major surgery. I don’t think I will ever get why they think that a werewolf who could take down two black bears is so helpless after a mere fainting spell. Sometimes I think that mom and dad just want an excuse to have the image of their little baby girl back, no matter how small a reason.
