• I laid in my bed, not tired. I kept thinking about Jake. He was so sweet, and funny. Out of all of the people I danced with, I never liked a single one except for Jack's. I had a tear coming out of my eyes, but then I heard a rock hit my window. I got up to see who it was. Jack! I opened my window, and he said that he was going to take me sightseeing around town. I put out my whole hand to show that I had 5 minutes to get out there. I closed my window, and ran to my closet. I moved all of my big party dresses until I got the very back of the closet. Behind the dresses were regular clothes that my mom bought me secretly. She always understood my problems and me. I searched through them all until I found a black, tight, tube-top dress, and a white denim jacket where the bottom part of it was just below my chest. I put my sunglasses on to hide my eyes. It was perfect. I loved this outfit when I picked it out. I tiptoed out of my palace through the back door. I then ran out to go see Jack.

He opened the back seat door for me. It was a black limo with black windows to hide his face from the public. That’s when I noticed that he was wearing a disguise too! His driver took us to the big streets of town. I’d never been here, but I guess Jack’s been here a lot. We stopped at a huge building with lights everywhere. His driver opened both our doors for us. As we got out, I slipped a quiet thank you. I’m sure he heard because he smiled at me, and I smiled back. Jack grabbed my hand and took me inside. I got a little nervous. That’s when he put his lips close to my ear and said, “Don’t worry. I won’t let go of you.” Then, I saw a huge man blocking the door. He looked at Jack, and then he smiled. He opened the door for us into the loud, crowded, large building.

As we stepped in, I saw a lot of things at one time: too many people, a stage, a bar, and a DJ studio. To me, it looked as if people were getting in line to sing, dance, or whatever. That’s when Jack pulled me towards the line with him. I tried to keep up with his enthusiasm, but a lot of people bumped into me. That’s when we both let go. I tried screaming his name, but he couldn’t hear me. Dammit! I was lost.

I tried running towards the line to find him, but he was gone. He must’ve been looking for me too. The place was too big! I decided to wait at the bar until I found him. I was too young to drink so I just sat on a stool. I waited and waited as I searched through the moving crowd. Then, a guy next to me, probably 21 since he was drinking, tapped my shoulder and said, “Hey. You’re pretty cute. Why don’t you come to my place tonight?” I shook my head, and got off the stool, but as I walked, he grabbed onto my dress. “C’mon sweetie, don’t be that way.” He said. Then, he got off his stool, and walked up towards me. I was getting ready to scream when suddenly, a fist smashed his cheek and sent him going down. I was getting afraid at first, but then I saw that it was Jack! He grabbed my hand, and carried me to his car as fast as he can. I was tossed into the back seat, and we drove off as fast as we can to a restaurant.
