• Prologue

Do you believe in worlds that are different or parallel to your own? I didn’t used to until I found out I was from one. You see I wasn’t really born in this world but into a world named Heralding. Right now I would be on what you would call Earth. I have grown up here since I was three years old and was taken from my world. Little did I know that my Mother and Father were King and Queen of Heralding. I was taken by men from the organization named Fallout who are set on controlling other worlds. In order for them to do that they place one of their own in the line for the throne after taking the first heir away. This is what happened to me. My name is Alicesandra Martin. Most just call me Alex. But in Heralding I am known as Princess Alexandria Geralgio. The next in line for the throne after my parents Victoria and Henry have ruled. My Parents have ruled the kingdom of Heralding for ten years so far and Heralding was a peaceful place until Fallout came and took me away. After I was taken my parents were threatened with my death if they didn’t step down and disappear. Rather then have me hurt they obliged and left Heralding forced to give up the throne and let Lord Gastrov took over. The once peaceful kingdom was taken over and new laws were put in place that the town’s people hated but they had no choice but to follow. Punishments were terrible for anyone who disobeyed the laws. My parents were banished and never heard from again. I never saw my parents again and they never saw me. Where they went is still a mystery. Into another world would be my guess. Everything changed the day I turned 16 and strange people started to show up asking about me. But I must start form the beginning from when my parents were blessed with a little baby girl who would rule the kingdom when she got older.

The kingdom was alive with celebration. “The Queen has given birth to a girl all hail the new princess, Alexandria” messengers shouted through the street and everyone went running to the castle to get a glimpse of the beautiful new baby girl. Celebrations were being held at the castle and everyone was bustling about getting ready all in the kingdom were to be there to see the new baby. Blue ribbons were every where not symbolize a boy but because Baby Alexandria cried at the site of anything pink but loved blue. Young women and men were being dressed in their finest clothes and the older women and men were in their best gowns and suits. Everyone was waiting to see a glimpse of the new princess.

Meanwhile in the castle Victoria and Henry were already dressed and ready and they were getting Alexandria dressed. “God look at her she is so beautiful” Victoria sighed as she looked at the baby girl lying in her bassinet. They had a beautiful blue dress made just for her and they had just put it on. As Victoria stood and watched her daughter playing with the ruffles on her dress and smiling she couldn’t help but be filled with happiness. “Yes she is and I’m blessed to have both of you here with me” Henry said as he hugged Victoria closely “Come on we should be going the festivities are going to start soon and we have to get her downstairs.”

After picking Alexandria up from the bassinet they headed downstairs to the grand ballroom where the festivities would be held tonight. It was beautiful. The servants had been working overtime to get it ready. Tables were everywhere and they were filling up fast. The ballroom was made for events such as these huge and spacious able to fit everyone in the kingdom. After everyone was seated the announcement was made.

She was beautiful with a head of dark brown curls and brown eyes that sparkled at everything in the room. As the crowd sheered the arrival of their new princess the King and Queen headed to the table at the head of the room where the happy grandparents sat. As they placed Alexandria in the high chair next to Victoria’s seat Henry turned to the people and said “how happy I am to present my daughter to you. I hope that she grows up to be a great ruler of this Kingdom. And I am thankful for every one of you the people of this Kingdom who have been so loyal and faithful. Feast and be merry thank you. The festivities went on for a while but came to a close when Alexandria had fallen asleep after being fed by Victoria. As Henry and Victoria put their beautiful baby girl to bed and fell asleep themselves everything felt so peaceful and quiet.

Over two years later the kingdom was still beautiful and peaceful. It was full of activity as today was the Princesses second birthday. She was a brilliant girl already could walk and run and she was well loved by the people in the Kingdom. She could be seen on certain days running around the castle courtyard with her nurse and caretaker running after her. Her hair had grown so long and the curls were beautiful in the wind when she ran. The whole Kingdom was excited for this day. A big party was being held for the princess to celebrate her birthday. Everyone was invited and a grand feast was being prepared. At 6 o’clock that night was when the party started. With everyone dressed in their best clothing and of course the King and Queen looking splendid as they came down the stairs and waited while Alexandria came down the stairs all by herself. The crowd cheered as she made it to the bottom with a smile on her face. She was dressed in a magnificent blue dress with a beautiful flower pattern sewn into it that seamstresses had worked weeks on. In her curls where little white flower clips that made her hair so beautiful. As she danced the night away with her father and mother and even her caretaker she laughed and it filled the room with joy to see this little girl having so much fun. Victoria and Henry stood off to the side and watched as their daughter went around the dance floor with the many people in the kingdom. “She is loved by all Henry and she is going to make a great Queen someday I just know it.” Victoria told her husband. “Yes this is true my dear look at how she interacts with the people. She is indeed going to make a great Queen someday.” He responded. It was 10 o’clock when the party drew to a close and Alexandria was taken up to bed. “Mommy that was so much fun” she said as her parents laid her down in her crib “I can see you had fun but aren’t your feet sore from all that dancing?” “No they are not.” She replied as her mother tickled her feet making her laugh. “Aren’t you tired?” “No, I’m not tired.” She said as she tried to suppress a yawn. “Yes you are good night my dear.” Victoria said as she and her husband kissed their daughter on the forehead “yes good night sleep tight and dream good dreams tonight” Henry said as he had said every night since she was born. As Victoria and Henry went to bed themselves they looked out at the sprawling kingdom thinking about what tomorrow would bring.
