• In the year 3,000, a race known as the moon people were at war with the people of Venus. King Eros was out in the far side of the moon where the war was happening. At home his family and the entire race of the moon lay in wait at the palace. Much blood is shed on both sides. The generals and commanders were killed or severly wounded. King Eros fought couragously, but was wounded in one leg. Realizing what was going one, Eros called retreat. Most of the soilders who were still standing retreated at once.
tab I was awoken by the gentle movements of my lady servant Ruth.
"My lady please awake. Your father King Eros is coming home with our warriors. Come and let's get you ready to greet him." Her voice was soft and full of glee. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. My father is coming home I thought. My silver hair that was in my eyes; it was moved behind my ears by my maid. I got out of bed and went to my closet. Ruth began to dress me in my long, light green gown. I was curvy, but not so curvy that people stared. My skin was snow white and soft. As Ruth finished getting me into my dress, I took my gold brush, transported from earth, and brushed away my knots. My silver hair was as soft as a fleece blanket. I left my hair down and put on my white slippers that were covered by my gown. I looked in the mirror; the most beautiful maiden in the land. I came out of my closet and went into the halls. The halls were glass clear showing the beautiful gardens of the moon. The arches were 20 feet high made of plaster. I reached the end of the hall and went into the kitchen. The kitchen was so grand, it is so hard to explain or describe it. The chef and the cooks were at work. Watching them work was like watching a bunch of mice scurry around. I went to the little island counter and grapped was earthlings called a green apple. I bite into it, the apple was crisp and ripe. MMm yummy.
"Umm, my lady no to be rude, but you must leave the kitchen." A young servant boy said in a very deep voice. I nodded and went about my business.
