• The wet, slippery bullets fell off my face. I leaned my wrists against the cold rock and let the rush of the waterfall drown out my thoughts of what i came here to forget. The sky grew darker as the crimson sun fell below the horizon... the dome of the cave started to disappear into neverending darkness. i couldn't see a thing, only four of my senses were active at the moment. Most of all, I heard the steady pound of the waterfall against the smooth stones, occasionally hitting my back. I was so mesmerized by the sound, that i forgot why i came here in the first place. my burning face was cooled by the spray, and all my angry tears were washed away. i fell into the pool, staring up in the black canvas above me that was painted with tiny white dots that glimmered from the reflection of the silver sphere that no one could miss. The current from the waterfall pulled me downstream. I floated along without any sign of struggling, just let the twisting flow of life take me wherever it leads...
