• As he walked me in the wondrous place, I saw a sign.

    Uchi Park

Oh yes! I've heard of a park before, but for some reason, I've never been to one. I felt like a airhead alien. We kept walking arm to arm. I looked at his beautifully sculpted face. He turned his head, and smiled at me. I smiled back, lightly blushing.

Once we stopped, I looked around. Lights everywhere!!! On the trees, bushes, sidewalk, and an on-going arc that looked like it was made from the lights. It was so amazing and unreal.

As we walked in the arc, I stared open-mouthed, eyes wide. He chuckled. The lights were brightening the darkness outside the arc. I felt like...like...a princess.

Even though I was a princess, for the first time, I felt like a real princess. At home, I felt like a prisoner. At school, I felt like a nobody. But, here with Jack, inside bundles of lights, walking around alone, I felt like a princess.

He was the one. I was sure of it. He was the light in my darkness, the exit to my maze, the "Happily ever after" in my book. I loved him, and I was sure he felt the same way. He guided me to a nearby bench.
